We came on a rainy morning looking for shelter and a hot drink. We are regular customers during the holidays. As usual, the staff were all lovely, friendly, polite and helpful. We order drinks and cheesy chips. The lady at the counter even added bacon to our chips, just for us. The food is always good quality and it arrived hot and totally delicious. Had a surprisingly excellent experience today at this cafe. The home made roast vegetable soup was absolutely delicious and only 1.90. I added half of a baguette served with loads of butter which took the price up to £2. I highly recommend it. The cafe is basic but clean and the staff were pleasant. Beautiful view.
