We popped in for a drinks at the weekend after the great south run. Without us asking the lovely staff gave our dog a little gravy dinner which she absolutely loved. Really attentive and thoughtful, very friendly staff and great service. And obviously dog friendly ☺️
There are very few pubs in Portsmouth that serve a good roast so I was pleasantly surprised after my visit to The Marmion. Homemade Yorkshire, roast potatoes and gravy (made the proper way) were all lovely as was the veg - everything tasted very fresh! I think I can say that I preferred it to the other place down the road. Slightly more than I usually pay, but I couldn't really find fault with anything - perhaps include stuffing? Parsnips? Most coolest owners running the pub , if you've been let down in the past the place has changed completely . lovely owners and wicked drinks . Best pub in southsea :).Sunday roasts are also excellent and cooked by a proper chef
