58-60 High St, WhitchurchSuch a lovely restaurant. Really tasty food, helpful staff and lovely atmosphere. We phoned up as we have two dogs, they were allowed in which was great. The menu has good vegetarian options plus the staff explained they could also adjust different dishes to be veggie. The Tortelloni alla Ciociara was my favourite!

Bombay Sapphire Distillery
Laverstoke Mill, London Rd, WhitchurchWe recently visited the distillery and did the tour and cocktail masterclass.
The tour was interesting but the masterclass was the highlight of our visit - worth every penny!
If you're a gin loving cocktail drinker get booking - you won't be disappointed.
There's a great onsite bar - with an outdoor seating area, if you're lucky with the weather!

The Black Bear
49 High St, WhitchurchWe love the Black Bear for its beer and food selections, and it is one of the few pubs in Whitchurch that have a decent beer garden which is certainly a sun trap!

Burleydam, WhitchurchLovely pub, with attentive staff and great food. Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday roast. Child and dog friendly. Recommend booking on advance if bringing a dog, as only allowed in certain area.

Decent price for what it is, worth stopping if passing by.

17 Bell St, WhitchurchNice place to have an Indian meal. The food is well cooked. We had stuffed parantha which was authentic. Also lamb curry and two vegetables sides. The fried rice with egg and peas too. Everything was delicious and the had a quick service. Even with a few takeaway meals in between. The staff who served us were both nice . Reasonable prices too for a family meal

Whitchurch Silk Mill
28 Winchester St, WhitchurchA heritage silk mill to enjoy some hours with such interesting facts about silks. The mill has a clear Tets river running through and ducks- so peacefully for you to enjoy brunch/ coffee and nice cake there after your visit. Nice village to walk around in Hampshire. Also there are Some nice gifts to buy here if you want.

A fabulous traditional pub, such a lovely setting on a drab February afternoon.
It was a quiet lunchtime, but there was cosy atmosphere inside, with a welcoming open fire.
There was lovely terrace outside, which overlooked the canal, can't wait to go back in the warmer weather to sit outside beside the lock. I also noticed a large beer garden with a kids play area, which will be great to bring the grandkids to.
I would highly recommend sampling a few of their delicious ales. I had the Steak pie, it was stunning and paired well with the Salopian Darwin's Origin, which was very well kept and a bargain at £4.50 a pint.
My wife had the mixed fish platter, other family members had fish and chips, and Veg curry, which was vegan and GF.
All our party were extremely happy and complimentary.
The Food was really tasty, with loads of choice, decent portions, hot, well-presented and very reasonably priced.
The staff were very friendly, the pub was lovely and clean.
A big thank you for your warm hospitality and excellent service, especially to our collie Meg, who you spoilt!
This pub is well worth a visit at any time of the year, and I can't wait to revisit in the sunshine ??

Today Easter Sunday I tried a Picallo coffee. Great flavour in a tiny cup.
First visit since their refurbishment and there's more space as well as brightened up the paintwork. The counter is a better height and love the new cups. However the coffee ....it's just as Great.
Tried a flat white today, July 2025, another excellent flavour sensation.

The serve a wide range of beers, including several real ales that change regularly, and to food is generally top notch, especially the burgers.

4-6 Station Rd, WhitchurchA great Indian restaurant with interesting dishes on the menu as welll as the classics. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was just right for Christmas Eve. Good value and the naan breads were huge!!

Thai Vintage Whitchurch
Park Ave, WhitchurchStaying here for two nights. The room is lovely and clean, has a bath and all the amenities. Owner of the place is an absolutely lovely bloke - looks after everyone as if they were his family. Food at the Thai is really good quality, I'd recommend the Sea Bass. I'm only stopping over for work but would recommend to anyone, great experience.

3D Church St, WhitchurchLovely friendly kebab house. The food is great and so is the portion sizes of the kebabs! Just 1 problem that keeps occurring, everything seems to be becoming very salty recently. Please considered changing your garlic butter and cheddar cheese plus less salt when marinating the meat.
This is coming from someone that likes salt too… :-/

Only reason for the 4 stars is the toilets are through a side gate.

Wrexham Rd, WhitchurchThe management at this particular Subway appear to be absolutely on it regarding quality and detail. We go here even when it’s not our local subway because we need gluten free food for a coeliac. The care in cleaning and preparing this is always done by the different staff, often in other subways it’s not, the cleanliness here is also much higher than others.
