I find it’s always a bit ‘hit and miss’ with pizza express. Some are excellent and others, like this one, could do with a bit of ‘love’ ie a good clean - unless they are going for a ‘rustic’ vibe!! Just felt a bit grubby with tacky tables and staff sitting around chatting!! Maybe it was the time of day we visited - somewhere between lunch and dinner, it was quiet so you’d expect things to be clean and tidy - though the service was friendly and quick.
