A nice local pub in Hyde in Winchester, serving a great range of local beers, as well as a surprisingly good wine list. They don't do food, but as it's in central Winchester, there are plenty of places to get something if you wanted it.Friendly service, great atmosphere and pretty reasonably priced too. In the summer they have a lovely garden which is a nice place to spend an hour two with friends.
Normally we visit Winchester on weekends and always find the Mucky Duck very busy and hard to find a seat. Very impersonable so often bypass. This time was on a Monday evening with few patrons. Much different, very welcoming staff, attractive and comfortable decor, a very enjoyable visit.

A proper pub! Not sure if they do food but we really enjoyed our visit here. Great Friday evening atmosphere with friendly service. They show sports on several TVs but it's not what I would call a sports pub, the customers seemed a mix of all sorts of people. We will visit next time we're in Winchester.
