The barman was very friendly, the decor was lovely and the drink selection, especially the Pips Cider, was excellent. It's worth noting because they offer a often hard to procure collection of ciders and I assume other beers, they have a reduced takeaway price. WonderfulMy only real concern was the strange opening times, I tried to go back on a Sunday after church only to find it closed. It often doesn't open until the evening instead of the afternoon. Much better than the last time we visited, very good selection of beers and cider. The staff this time were helpful and more knowledgeable. The last time we visited, the staff were disinterested slow and were unable to recommend as they did not appear to know any of the offerings, vast improvement this time.

After moving nearer to Hereford, thought we’d give the BiH a go. What a fantastic bar/pub.I think I’ve been various nights of the week, since lockdown; beer is top notch, pizzas are mouth watering, atmosphere bis buzzing. I love the fact that the kegs regularly, so it’s a surprise each week, but they tend to keep at least one style of each to suit most tastes.I’m not a cask person, but it’s nice to see some on tap too.
