We stopped here for lunch on August Bank Holiday Monday, completely on spec. This is a nice traditional pub serving a range of established drink brands and also some local ales. The clientele was a mix of locals and tourists. The menu caters for all choices… light hot lunches, sandwiches and main plates. All of them are good traditional pub food choices. Lovely pub, that we were relieved to discover after cooking the hill from the river. Dogs allowed inside and out and they provided water for us. We had the homemade fish finger baguette and a prawn and smoked salmon salad. Both were enormous and came with home made sauces. Very very tasty. Lovely smiley service and a decent price.
