First impressions as you enter from walking up the stairs - there is an accessible lift - is a modified mill or production facility as it is very spacious with high ceilings, exposed trunking and a fabulous open kitchen. The vegan options are honestly disappointing. It feels as though vegans are disregard with basic options which are not good value. I would love to see the next revised menu with interesting and intriguing vegan options, as many of my family and friends love the herm, but as a vegan I am not excited about any of the food available. I have given the 5 stars I feel the hermitage deserves, from the service and atmosphere, with the hope of an enticing vegan menu in the future.Update....read full review
Overall, we enjoyed the restaurant with its friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. We had Sunday Roast. It’s exceptional. The only critique was the gravy was a bit thick and salty (personal opinion), but aside from that, the place was spotless.Kid-friendliness: Spacious and kids stool are available.
