8 Whitehorse St, BaldockIt would be a perfect dinner if we didn’t almost get food allergies due to a bit not careful enough service, and still charged with service fee.
The pork terrine was a pleasant surprise, the pork odor was properly removed and the pork texture was preserved yet still easy to spread on the bread. It paired harmoniously with the apple jelly, which added a balance of acidity and sweetness. The mussels were fresh with flavorful chorizo base. The pie offered an almost flaky dough, and the meat inside was braised thoroughly paired with flavorful meat sauce. The wild duck was a bit over cooked to my taste, but the beetroot sauce was really complimenting the duck taste.
We were a bit disappointed in the service but it could be our fault too. We emphasized that two of us were allergic to nuts and tree nuts, then we requested small plates to share the starters together. However one of the dishes came with walnuts and we were not notified. Luckily we didn’t eat it and didn’t get a reaction.

Baldock Industrial Estate, London Rd, BaldockI ordered a pizza and some garlic bread to be ordered at a time later in the day. It arrived just a few mintues before the scheduled time and it was lovely. I'd go with them again if I was over that way again.

14B High St, BaldockFabulous small breakfast with perfectly cooked bacon (I like it crispy) beans a-plenty and egg, sausage, toast and a steaming mug of tea. It's a great place for a pit stop going along the A1... Forget the services, go into Baldock town centre and treat yourself.

19 Whitehorse St, BaldockVisited Delizia today for a late lunch, and from starters to desserts everything was excellent as last time. Highly recommend the chicken ballotine. Atmosphere and service was exceptional too.

6 High St, BaldockI'm down here on a course and have stumbled across this little cafe for lunch. Great choice on their menu, food prices VERY reasonable and portion sizes were amazing, if anything a little too much for me I felt bad for leaving left overs as can't fault the food at at all!
