Didn't get food so unfortunately can't rate that, but the Rivertown SIPA was good.
A lot better beer options than other popular pubs in Buntingford.

Westmill, BuntingfordThis is an exceptional tea room with a fabulous selection of home made cakes. The staff are friendly and helpful and everything is beautifully fresh, made with top notch ingredients. Seating indoor and outside, it's best to book at busy times.

Aspenden, BuntingfordVisited today, the cleanest and most welcoming Pub I have ever entered in my life. Pub was like walking into your mum’s living room so cozy so warm so inviting and the landlords are lovely. Can’t wait to go back Wednesday for lunch What? What a place! Would definitely recommend

Buntingford Fryery
57A High St, BuntingfordPut in a huge order for 21 of us who were at a Brownies residential event. Buntingford Fryery not only delivered to the venue on a day they don't usually offer delivery, but they gave us a group discount and then lots of extras on top. The portions were huge and everyone seemed to enjoy the meal. Really appreciated the way this business went above and beyond. We have left their posters at the venue in the hope that other groups place an order.

17 High St, BuntingfordAbsolutely spiffing hostelry. Popped in for a libation with a couple of old chums before moving on for luncheon. A wonderful old characteristic public house, tip top ales ( I had a splendid couple of pints of Courage Directors ), very friendly & welcoming with excellent service. A proper pub ? ?? ? ?
(couldn’t rate the food as they don’t serve meals lunch times, but we knew this beforehand & didn’t have a problem with that)

The Viceroy Restaurant
53 High St, BuntingfordFirst time at the Viceroy - nice welcome on arrival with plenty of tables available (8pm on a Weds evening). Friendly staff throughout, food was excellent - really good portions so some take away for tomorrow’s lunch. Good veggie choices (Paneer Shashlik was lovely). Complementary drink after the meal. Bill was £35 pp for popadoms, starter, main and sides, including drinks (and tip) so not bad at all. Highly recommended and would certainly visit again when in the area!

23 Church St, BuntingfordSo surprised how lovely it is in here. I have lived in Buntingford for 30 years and have not been in here for some time but we will definitely come more often. It has been beautifully refurbished, great seating and decor, friendly service and whoever is doing the cleaning needs an award. So clean and fresh and lovely flowers too. Great job all of you.
