Went on a Sunday for a carvery. Prebooked and went later afternoon early evening.
Despite being later in the day, the food was still hot, delicious and tasty. There was no dried meat, nothing had ran out and everything still seemed really fresh. The roast itself was really great and the desserts were just as good. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and consistently checked on us to ensure our food and experience was good. Their was a really friendly atmosphere in there and you could tell it was popular with regulars but not in the unwelcoming way that some pubs can be. Will definitely be back.
