We were a party of 10 on Saturday and it was a pleasure being served by such a friendly and knowledgeable waiter. He had no issues with a few of our party amending orders. The food was lovely and we were all served at the same time, which is impressive for 10 people.
6 of us visited The Gate for lunch and drinks after a walk. We received a warm welcome and taken to our reserved table. Pub was very busy so glad had booked ahead. The the guys who took our order and served us were brilliant. Friendly and polite. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a variety of dishes between us. Lovely pub. Its only small, so booking is advisable. But the food was excellent. Sunday roast was one of the best we have had! Children's menu has great choices and good portion sizes too. Dogs allowed inside which was lovely! Can't wait to return in the summer months!
