75 Station Rd, BirchingtonI visited Zara's on May 28th, around lunchtime. The place was very busy, which I took as a good sign. The staff were on first name terms with pretty much all the customers, another positive. I ordered breakfast #2 with an extra egg. They do much more than a fried breakfast though. Service was excellent and welcoming. The food was nice and hot and well cooked. The egg yolks were runny and perfect for dipping bread (which was fresh). Good value for money. I will definitely visit the next time I'm down from London.

The Parlour
11-13 Minnis Rd, BirchingtonWonderful spot in Birchington. All staff are extremely friendly and there is such a happy atmosphere. I've visited on two occasions with my Dad and partner & son. The menu offering is varied. Food is fresh, clearly using high quality ingredients. I would highly recommend this friendly spot. I will continue to visit !

The staff are so helpful and plenty of entertainment.

Harbour Bakery Driftwood Cafe
59 Station Rd, BirchingtonWell, what a lovely little place.... from the moment I walked in, all the staff were kind and you could tell they liked being there! I couldn't make up my mind...as per usual ? So they showed me the hot and cold menu boards. As you can see, I chose a bacon and egg crusty roll with butter ?. I specifically asked for a runny egg ? and it was done to perfection ?. I asked where the gypsy tart was made, and it's all local, which is awesome! So I got one! It was lush, too! Thank you, Harbour Bakery....I will be back!

The Bell Inn
BirchingtonCame in for a drink and ended up staying for 3! Was greeted by such a friendly welcoming staff member (Emily) she and another staff member (shay) was kind and amazing with my little boy. We stayed outside, amazing vibes, a play slide etc in the garden for our little one to play on. Also so reasonable! We didn't want to leave as felt so at home there. Deffo gonna be my regular. Loved it so much ❤️❤️

72 Station Rd, BirchingtonCoffee shop in the centre of the High Street with a lovely ambience. I have visited a few times with my father, and friends. Perfect lattes and toasted sandwiches. Nice selection of sweet treats. Lovely little garden at the back for warmer day lunches. A fabulous little place for a relaxing catch-up lunch with friends.

8 The Square, BirchingtonWent to Fields Cafe in Birchington for Sunday dinner. It’s best to book as we did. The food was delicious, hot and the portion sizes are generous. The staff are really friendly and are happy to accommodate any food requirements. We had 2 vegetarian roast dinners and one chicken roast. The place is clean and tidy and the service is excellent. So good that we booked for next Sunday. The prices are very reasonable as well. If you want a tasty Sunday roast dinner then you’d do well to try Fields.

Minnis Bay Bar & Brasserie
The Parade, BirchingtonThe venue is great, and the staff are extremely friendly. Our visit on a Sunday we were only looking for a didn’t and a small bite and had seen on their menu they did sandwiches. We were informed they did not do this on weekends, so the next bed thing was a Caesar salad with chicken. This took 40 mins to arrive which meant we ended up spending longer here than we anticipated.
Food is quite pricey, but still good value for what you get. The portions were good.
We did return later for a drink and was severed immediately at the bar.
Service score reduced purely for the delay, which seemed a lot for a salad. That said the staff were helpful and friendly beyond this.

The bay fish bar
155 Minnis Rd, BirchingtonThis is up there with the best fish and chips I've had. Batter was delicate and crunchy, fish was fresh and flakey and the chips were perfectly cooked.
Ordered via their website arrived a little earlier than the 15 minutes suggested, but always nice to see your fish being cooked fresh. Got a few chips to eat whilst waiting, which was a nice touch.
Will definitely eat here again when next down in Minnis Bay.

11 The Square, BirchingtonWent to buy one get one free steak night. Steak was superb. Service was good. A great deal. But ask to see the drinks menu which was not offered don't just order 'a white wine' or a 'lager' when asked if they can get you drinks Some of the prices of the drinks were (to me) eye popping when we got the bill at the end. Other than that a great place to go.
