60 Station Rd, Westgate-on-SeaWow these guys are the best! Not only was this the nicest fish I’ve ever had, but the staff are so nice and friendly. They really care and use locally sourced produce, and it shows in the quality of food. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Hot Wood Pizza
25 Station Rd, Westgate-on-SeaReally good pizza. Nice tomato base, good dough and well balanced flavours. Salad is super generous and a good Caesar-style dressing. Sort of a cross between an Italian and an American style pizza.

The Fish Inn Westgate
30 Cambourne Ave, Westgate-on-SeaAll tasted good. However, I found chips to be very crispy and too dry (perhaps frozen previously). Hence 4 star.
Portions- generous, scampi very good - not oily.

Taj Mahal
18 Cuthbert Rd, Westgate-on-SeaWhat a find. We had travelled by train to Broadstairs for the day but it was so busy we decided to move along to Westgate on Sea. Right across the road from the station. Fantastic food and lovely owners. The wife is the chef and boy can she cook. The restaurant is just a normal homely place with no frills and food very reasonably priced. Take your own alcohol for no extra charge if you wish otherwise they sell soft drinks. Some people had bought jugs of beer from the micro pub just around the corner. Will definitely be back.

Finbar's of West Bay
on top of West Bay Cafe, West Bay Promenade, Off Sea Rd, Westgate-on-SeaLovely spot with an amazing view of the sunset over the sea.
The food is amazing, very well presented and an interesting combination of flavours (except for the Buddha salad that was a bit plain, I suggest to add a dressing like pomegranate or mango dressing or chilly chutney to give it a kick).
The fish dishes are amazing.
The steak cooked to perfection.
The appetizers the right size to give you a taste without fill you up, giving you chance to really enjoy the mains.
The menu offer just an handful of choices for each category (that it's a good thing: it means that they don't have a large stock of pre-coocked garbage to defrost and use the time to cook your food from fresh stocks).
Another sign that the food is fresh is that if you book late (as we accidentally did) the most popular dishes are out of stock, so I suggest you don't wait till the end of the day.

Have to say this was the best Chicken Shish I've ever had, so will certainly be ordering from Beano Kebab again, and the website made it so simple. Well Done Beano Kebab ?

42 Station Rd, Westgate-on-SeaEverything is lovely here, the service is friendly the food is fabulous and feel it is a little gem of a place, however my only complaint is allowing dogs to sit and be fed at the tables on owners laps and on the chairs both of which I witnessed.
I love dogs but feel this is really unhygienic.

Friendly House Chinese Take Away
28 Cambourne Ave, Westgate-on-SeaI ordered my third time tonight, amd they were so busy it was 45 minutes later than promised, so believe me when I say I dont give this 5 star review lightly.
My Dad and Nan put me onto this Chinese, and after 37 years living in Margate as a Chinese takeaway lover, I can honestly say this is the best one we've ever had in the area.
An absolute treat, cooked to perfection.

Regency Tandoori
9 Station Rd, Westgate-on-SeaWe had our family Christmas meal on Christmas day. The food was great and lots of it, the staff were attentive and could't do enough for us. It was worth having family time and we were well looked after and it is our second year.
