Taj Mahal
18 Cuthbert Rd, Westgate-on-SeaThis is a special place and I couldn't rate it higher. If you want fast service for a take away or eating in it's probably not for you but if you want great food which has been individually and lovingly cooked, you won't get better. A genuinely lovely family run restaurant, it's not the fanciest but the food speaks for itself. Great choice, freshly cooked to order, generous portion sizes with plenty of meat/seafood/veg and very well priced. People keep coming back, our family have eaten there for over 25 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Westgate Fish & Chips
60 Station Rd, Westgate-on-SeaWhat a lovely touch for them to offer me a mini cone of chips to nibble on while I was waiting for my fish to be fried! Stuff like that makes all the difference and shows that they care - and the people working there looked like they were happy and having fun, which is a great sign and fills you with confidence. I had Haddock and 'small' chips and that was enough to fill two of us ? Thanks ??

The Swan, Westgate-on-Sea
75 Sea Rd, Westgate-on-SeaI popped in while on a 'tourist' break in town for a couple of days... It's a fantastic location and The Swan is clearly very well run. The London Pride beer was perfect and I got the 'happy hour' price which was great value. The bar service was fast and friendly, and I didn't feel like a 'visitor' even though I was amongst local regulars. Thanks for helping to make my trip all the more enjoyable ????

Finbar's of West Bay
on top of West Bay Cafe, West Bay Promenade, Off Sea Rd, Westgate-on-SeaSuch good food. Best burger I’ve actually ever had and living in London, I’ve had a lot of burgers. :)Beautiful setting. We went in winter, so it must be glorious in summer. Last time we visited was before Covid, so I didn’t hold my expectations high….yet the food was just as delicious and the staff were lovely too!

Hot Wood Pizza
25 Station Rd, Westgate-on-SeaThe food was fresh and delicious the portions were generous. I took my two kids (10 and 12) and they loved it too, taking left overs home. They were a staff member down and this was explained to us that things might take a little longer. Nearly every table was taken. The atmosphere was lovely and great selection of drinks too. When I'm in westgate on sea again, I will be visiting.

Regency Tandoori
9 Station Rd, Westgate-on-SeaThe food and beer are very reasonably priced and the dishes are well executed classics. My vindaloo was nice and hot, and quite dark and angry ? and the portions are good. The service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go again when I am next in town ?? Oh my only observation is that there wasn't any background music being played which would have added to the atmosphere ??You've got to love a bit of Indian music while you crunch your poppadoms ?

Millies Beach Bar & Restaurant
Beach Rd, Margate, Westgate-on-SeaWe came in here for a quick drink, no plan to stay or eat. But we found such a welcome atmosphere, attentive staff, good wine and beer and so we asked for the menu’s. Order grilled fish and a burger and it was lovely. Good quality food, served pipping hot. A call out to both Matt’s and Daniel for brilliant customer service. Would definately recommend and will be retuning.

Sea Rd, Westgate-on-SeaVery busy. Very efficient and nice staff. Young lad brought our tea over but unfortunately milk had been added. We have just a tiny drop but despite how busy they were he took it away and brought out fresh for us with milk to add ourselves. All very quickly. Excellent.Only downside. NO scones.☹ Sold out
