Larkins' Alehouse
7 High St, CranbrookPopped in for a second time, visiting in the area, and it's an absolute gem of a place - the antithesis of Witherspoon's, friendly, good beer and importantly good clientele. The ladies that run it along with their husbands are amazing and it's great to have so many local ales and ciders as well as guest ones from further afield. A real gem ?

The Bull Inn Rolvenden
1 Regent St, Rolvenden, CranbrookMe and my partner came here for dinner since we were a 5 minute drive away, staying in a little cabin for a weekend away. We were greeted very politely by the lady at the bar who also sat us down and served us, she was super lovely and the service was super quick. The food was amazing me and my partner both got cheesy garlic bread which was one itself could have filled us up with our main, the food was definitely worth it for your money and portions are amazing. We left very full and very happy hoping to visit again sometime. Thank you so much guys x

The Ewe & Lamb
26 Maytham Rd, Rolvenden Layne, CranbrookI took my mum here for Mother’s Day and I must say how much I enjoyed my food. I had the burger and chips and my mum had the roast lamb. Was very impressed with the service and was made very welcome. Will definitely be coming back.

Kypseli Greek Taverna, Deli, Patisserie, Barista & Wine Bar
15 Stone St, CranbrookA taste of Greece in the heart of Kent.
A thoroughly enjoyable dinner, with authentic Greek flavours, and most importantly the sense of hospitality that’s the key ingredient of a Greek holiday.
I’m Greek myself and therefore quite selective and wary of Greek restaurants that are not owned by Greeks. However Kypseli lived up to its name and did justice to my homeland cuisine. Maria, the chef, cooks with Greek ingredients and created wonderful authentic flavours, but also went out of her way to accommodate my children’s taste. Hannah, our host, was delightful and ever so helpful - both of them created an atmosphere that really was as hospitable and friendly as any taverna on a Greek island. Thank you both for making our anniversary dinner so enjoyable!
If you are local and enjoy Greek food, I would wholeheartedly recommend Kipseli - five stars.

The Bull at Benenden
The St, Benenden, CranbrookCompelled to review. Passed through Benenden yesterday on way back from Rye to Kingston. Saw the pub sign and decided to stop for a bite. Wow, finally a warm, friendly ..very, very clean, cute and comfortable traditional independent village pub. Good parking and a stunning outlook over the village green. Food was exceptional ! (Home made fish pie and ham and turkey pie). The welcome and service went beyond! Would drive back there (2 hours away from home) just visit again. Will be back again soon, with friends. Thanks again team !

Benenden's Community Shop - Cafe - Post Office
The St, Benenden, CranbrookVery grateful that a kind volunteer enabled me to pick up a parcel yesterday morning despite it being a bit earlier than the post office’s usual opening hours so I could get to work. Think if that hadn’t happened, my parcel would sadly have been returned to sender! Watch out for limited opening hours for the post office (closed on Sundays despite what the Post Office website says. Closes at 4pm Wednesdays too).

Hartley Coffee House and Farm Shop
Hartley Rd, CranbrookThis farm shop has great variety and lots of produce and products that you will want to buy!
The cheese deli section has an interesting selection & a broad range and if you are looking for cheese I am sure you will find what you are looking for here! The meat counter is outstanding as well.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Oh I forgot to say about the bread - it is wow esp sourdough selection although you have to get there early.
It is, I found, fairly expensive and if I visit here I generally spend more than I thought I would but you get what you pay for - it is a quality farm shop with some really fabulous produce.
