Lovely food we had sticky duck followed by lemon meringue and crème brûlée. The duck and brûlée were lovely the lemon meringue was not to our taste. However it was lovely. Service was quick however they seemed to forget us once we had eaten our main and we had to call someone over to get the dessert menu.

Our experience at Harvester Dartford was delightful especially because Khaty took such a good care of us. She is such a kind person and she made sure that we had everything that we needed. The reason I give 4 star for atmosphere is that it’s not super posh but a lovely neighbourhood restaurant where you could enjoy a chat and good meal!

The only good meat so far, I have found in London, one is from this restaurant and the other is from whole foods in High Street Kensington. If I rate meat from these two places 7-8/10, I’d rate 2-3/10 for meat from Main Street super markets (m & s > Waitrose but equally disgusting).

People are super nice. What do you expect from Turkish? Friendly, generous and lovely! Not to mention I keep getting freebies.

She took the time to explain the menu, offer great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Pizza Hut is my favourite and this takeaway never disappoints! Pizza is always hot and cooked to perfection, same with all of their sides. One time I asked for a pot of pizza sauce to dip my chicken strips in and they were happy to provide.\n\nStaff are friendly and my order is always ready on time.\n\n100/10 recommend the Pizza Hut on market street.\nNever had a bad experience here, unlike the one at Bluewater.

It was clearly a very busy night as nearly every table was in use when we arrived (thank goodness we booked!)\nWe were greeted by Alex who was very friendly and welcoming, we were waiting for another friend to arrive, Alex suggested we have a drink at the bar whilst we waited, which we did and enjoyed. \nCaitlin served us at the bar and was kind enough to ask how we were and how our day had been, she took time to engage in genuine conversation and made us feel very valued as customers.\nWhen we were ready to eat, Alex showed us to our table, which was in a lovely area of the restaurant, he explained the menu and provided us with detailed information on safe dishes for a member of our party who has severe allergies to eat, this was very much appreciated and demonstrated how well he knows the menu and how serious Beefeater take / adhere to allergy rules and regulations.\nOnce seated Ronnie was our waiter, he was charming and took our order with a smile and good humour, it was a refreshing and welcome change to have staff interact confidently with customers (we witnessed Caitlin, Alex and Ronnie doing this with all customers, so it wasn’t just our table).\nThe food was outstanding, the Seabass and Muxed Grill were firm favourites as were the bread and butter pudding and sticky toffee desserts!\nAll in all, we had a fantastic evening, made all the more special by the three team members who looked after us perfectly, despite it being a very busy evening! We will definitely be back again very soon!!

I stayed in Dartford for a course and went to The Plough a number of times over the Christmas period. 5 stars is not enough. Great bunch of people, loads of space, brilliant food, great service and parking! Family vibe, comfy seats and the restaurant is separate from the bar so you can choose to be in the hassle for a good pub bar or in the quiet restaurant for quite drinks or a meal. I can't recommend more! Thanks to all the staff for being so welcoming!

My recent visit to The Fighting Cocks in Horton Kirby was an absolute delight. Despite making a late reservation, the staff were incredibly accommodating and provided brilliant service from start to finish. We were seated promptly, and our food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time.

The food itself was fantastic. It was exactly what you hope for in a classic pub meal: hearty, well-made, and clearly homemade. Every dish felt like it was prepared with care and quality ingredients. The prices were also very reasonable, offering great value for the quality and portion sizes. A special mention must go to the OAP fixed menu, which was an excellent value for money and a thoughtful option.

The location of the pub is lovely, with a charming atmosphere that adds to the dining experience. The only minor point for improvement would be the fans in the conservatory. On what was a warm day, it would have been great to have them working to make the space a bit more comfortable.

Overall, The Fighting Cocks is a superb pub and a place I would highly recommend.

Popped in for a quick pint, very quiet but made to feel welcome by the landlord, dog friendly pub with its own lovely resident golden retriever, I sat down at a table which had obviously just been vacated when before I could set my pint down the table was cleaned and re-set.
Two guys were at the bar having some banter with the landlord, which filled the bar with laughter and made the pub feel less empty.
Beer was lovely, and would visit again, as friendly welcoming pubs are my favourite!

Well, as a self-proclaimed ‘kebab connoisseur’ (trust me I think I have had enough kebabs to call myself this lol), all I can say is WOW – we were really satisfied with our order – we tried Sutton Grill for the first time earlier this week since moving to Swanley and first impressions were really positive – staff were really warm, welcoming and polite (which I think makes a difference), the place was clean and the chicken kebabs… WERE AMAZING – best ones I have had yet – good value for money, the pitta and salad was fresh, the chicken was cooked well (not over/under or rubbery) and literally fell apart whilst still tasting properly grilled and when asked for extra garlic sauce… actually got extra garlic sauce – thank you so much (I was really worried we wouldn’t be able to get a decent kebab near us since moving so I am so pleased) – keep up the good work guys because you really are standing out from the competition – looking forward to coming back soon...!!!! :)

So my boss put me in the hotel next door to it last week, I got there late so rang them up and ordered the blue cheese burger and fries with louisnana chicken. Amazing. I didn't write a review because I had a broken sleep due to someone next door making love like they were wrestling a walrus. So thought 'I won't be staying in this hotel again, so I won't bother writing a review about the diner next door'

My boss puts me in the very same hotel a week later, so I go to the same diner, and it wasnt a one off. Its So so good. Succulent burgers, crispy chips and the chicken falls off the bone.

Its looks pretty cool inside too. Its small but quirky.

Staff very friendly also, both times I was in so. Yeah shout out to the small businesses out there that actually make an effort ?

After reading some of the other great reviews, my wife and I visited for the first time here on Sunday 29/9 for lunch, and we were extremely surprised! I appreciate that Indian food may not be the go-to choice for most people's Sunday lunch, but I cannot fathom why were we the ONLY diners in the place? It's one of a few Indian restaurants open at lunch times. There's free parking behind the restaurant on Sundays too. We opted for the four course lunch menu at a very reasonable £17.95 pp. The food was delicious and the service impeccable, and the staff were so polite. A bottle of wine, two beers and the food....all for £66 for two. Great value! The only point that slightly detracted from our lovely meal was that it would have been a nicer touch to have Asian style music, rather than pop playing softly in the background.

I had such a wonderful time at this family-run spot — it’s truly charming! It was a delight to try some authentic, less Westernized Chinese dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.

We started with chicken claws, tripe, morning glory, and a dim sum set — all absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we chose beef noodles and a dish featuring duck and pork served over rice. To round off our meal, we enjoyed some heavenly custard buns.

The prawn dim sum was definitely the highlight — tender prawns wrapped in delicate, almost see-through dough. The chicken claws and tripe had nice textures, though they could have used a bit more flavor — perhaps a touch of garlic, greens, sesame oil, or seeds to enhance them. The morning glory also could have used a bit more seasoning. However, the main dishes were spot-on, and the custard buns provided a lovely, not-too-sweet ending.

Prices were really reasonable, making it easy to enjoy fantastic food without spending a fortune. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more of the delicious dishes on the menu! :)

I came across this chip shop as my husband was fishing nearby and so I thought I'd grab us some dinner. Well, it was by far the best fish & chips we've ever had! My husband had the large cod and it was huge. I had sausage in batter and both were cooked perfectly and the chips were out of this world!

The staff were also really chatty and friendly and knew all their regulars by first name. I live about an hour's round trip drive away, but even so, this is going to be our new chippy from now on. I'll happily drive down here just for their fish & chips - absolutely outstanding

Hello , i went to the shop first time and I ordered pizza as well wings, the best thinG about pizza price very cheap I ordered 15inch piza just £10 pound which is very nice as compared to other shops

We live in Whitstable but wanted to take Mum for Sunday lunch at a place local to her home in Dartford. The Rose filled the bill. Great Sunday Roast, the meals were all lovely, prices very reasonable and staff/service efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. Sue x

Great old pub from my youth, I used to live in Dartford and have been in there a few times, this was for a wake for a very close friend of ours. The staff are always pleasant, the wake was held in the back of the pub, so no regular customers were in there. The team looked after us very well, nothing more to say really, prices are reasonable for drinks, etc.

Hard to find a good Chinese takeaway nowadays but this one banged. We got the set meal for 2 and added on a few cheeky extras which didn't go a miss. The lady behind the till was lovely, smiley and helpful. Only downside was I couldn't do up my top button afterwards!

Lovely local pub keeping it traditional, and a friendly bantering clientele.

Tight on space, but plenty of overspill with a front seating area, a large rear covered area, and an L-shaped main bar room with a high ceilinged band area with pool table. There's also darts available and multiple big screen TVs to watch sports or golf.

No draught ales, just one bottled option, available warm or chilled.

Clean toilets, parking and absolute nightmare.

Entrances and toilets are not accessible.

Having had a few disappointing chinese's of late we thought we would try here based on the many good reviews. Delivery was around 15min later than expected but the food was well worth the small wait, piping hot, generous sized portions & everything ordered was delicious, could not fault this place & definitely have our new go to chinese. Also, the staff we spoke to were lovely, can't wait to sample other dishes.

I'd say my favourite Chinese takeaway, bar none. They are friendly, polite, accommodating to allergies/dislikes and it's never too much trouble to have something taken out or adjusted to the dish(es). Deliver within a decent time, most often before they estimated. Food is delicious everytime, and reasonable prices.

Beer and wine was good and a reasonable price. Only one person behind the bar, so service was a little slow. Lots of different age groups were present. Sociable, like a pub should be. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat this time. Generally it's the usual spoons fare, neither brilliant nor bad.

Decent sized meals decent price. I pretty much always get the same thing. Double burger meal and 20 wings. The service is always real quick and friendly. What I love the most is the fries. Honestly they are the tastiest skinny fries you can get bar none. Just love them so much. Had the 12 piece family bucket. Great value for money. Still just as good as ever.

Just the best Kebabs ever.
I normally order Chicken Shish and ask for everything to be loaded into the pitta bread then drowned with their secret recipe garlic sauce. Salad and pitta are served separately to the main so please do ask like I do to chuck it all in if that's your thing.
Munnnnch. Delivered or collected, always hot and tasty. Could eat one everyday.
