We stayed overnight in the car park in our motor home, it is free when you have a drink or a meal in the pub. It is only 14 minutes to the the tunnel. We stayed on a Monday night, the pub didn’t open on a Monday but the owners kindly allowed us to stay anyway nice people?
Excellent roast lunch We had lamb, with a range of vegetables, from the choice of beef, lamb or turkey. Good size portions served very hot. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I have eaten here a few times and the food is always good.

What a lovely friendly local pub, who make you very welcome. Unfortunately, no food after 3 on sunday, but we could still enjoy a drink as they do motorhome stop overs. Nicely situated for ports.
