Stumbled on this little gem by chance, so I popped in for a quick beer. Friendly greeting from the staff and traditional feel to this place. Spacious bar and dining area. Harvey's and Goachers on tap. Dartboard and an old piano, which you don't see everywhere. We'll worth a visit.
A very friendly and accommodating pub. Warming log burner and happy staff. It's busy and the customers were friendly.The FOOD is the VERY BEST I have had in a long time. I recommend the ribeye. The chef knows how to cook. Steak!The four of us went for the afternoon to lunch, chat and crochet. We all want to go back there, again ?

Turned up as part of a group of 16 walkers. We were all served quickly and without fuss. I had the fish and chips which were gorgeous. The menu isn't published online as it changes regularly. We all had wonderful food such as venison and huge fish burgers.
