We frequently visit Nutmegs and decided to use them for a surprise 60th birthday party, and we’re able to book the whole cafe on a Sunday.We had twelve people, one vegetarian, and had an afternoon tea for the party. Trent and Meghan were easy to book with and a confirmation came through five days before the party. We had a few drop outs before the party (originally booked for 15), and this was easily accommodated.On the day, we were allowed access an hour early for decoration....read full review

Met a friend for a cappuccino, quick, friendly service (Poppy).Coffee was good, tasty beans used.I didn't eat this time but my friend had scramble eggs and bacon on toast. Looked nice, he enjoyed it.I will.definitely be going back to try their poached eggs, which looked excellent.Less than £3 for a good cuppa.If the food next time is as good as it looks, I'll revise my review to 5⭐

My favourite place on the high street. I'm always suggesting we go down to Nutmegs for a coffee and a scone and they never fail to exceed expectations! Great good, delicious coffee and really friendly staff! Thank you! (Note. It's such a great place it does get busy so may be necessary to book in advance!)
