Really great spot for fish and chips in northfleet and Gravesend. Have had it ordered in person and via Uber and it’s always been fresh (it’s take away only). The owner takes pride in quality and seems to cancel Uber Eats orders where drivers take too long to arrive, which I think speaks volumes for quality/reputation vs getting a soggy bit of fish. Also, the 2 small fish and chips for £10 is a bargain considering the world we live in now.

A few years ago I used to come to this place once a week as my Dad loved to eat his lunch here. I’d not been here for a long time as I don’t live in the area anymore but today I was in the town, so I ate my lunch here.

I’ve eaten in many cafes and restaurants and I can safely say that the tastiest Chips you’ll ever taste are served here! I ordered Ham Egg and Chips and it’s was so tasty I was tempted to order it again… No joke I’m still thinking about the chips now.

Never tried any other meals here but the meal I’ve tried was perfect taste wise but the one downside was the portions were small. I’ll try the Pie and Mash sometime as it does look very tasty…

Staff were very polite and friendly and when I sat at my table I was offered a Newspaper to read.

The seating inside the premises looks nice but the seats are not comfortable and are unforgiving, when sitting for to long…

Overall, A family friendly atmosphere and highly recommended.
Try the chips.

Lovely pub, the quiz night was a really fun night and had some good laughs. All teams participating were friendly and joking with one another. Unfortunately the barmaid behind the bar was quite miserable and just acting like being there was a massive inconvenience to her. Didn’t see her smile once or even talk to customers. Poor guy doing the quiz had enough to do, let alone serve drinks as well when she was wandering off to the toilet or garden multiple times just to sit down for a vape. Pub definitely needs an extra member of staff behind the bar if quiz nights are to be that busy.
Otherwise a really good time, lovely pub and friendly environment. Will definitely be back!

Visiting Gravesend for the weekend and thought we would give this place a go. Really happy we did and enjoyed our food. The tuna lovers platter and salmon bento and then shared some sushi sides. Tasted fresh and was presented really nicely. We ordered for collection and service was great when we arrived to pick up, received a call just after we left saying they had missed some sashimi from the platter and were really apologetic when we came back to collect.

Absolutely amazing food, worth every penny, every dish out of the seven we tried, was full of flavour, sauces were fresh varied in consistency and ingredients depending on recipes and were cooked with natural broth unlike the monotonous take away type of gooey sugary syrups. Meat was fresh, was actually in the dish and portions were reasonable for the price. Variety of fresh vegetables in each dish. Service.was great, efficient and quick and every person working was pleasant and kind. It's the first Chinese we've had for over a year after a really bad experience with another Chinese take away Happy Dragon , but that was a pleasant change. We followed recommendations this time and it definitely stands up to it's reputation.We will buy again.

Great place and my go to chinese. The only thing I have found myself not liking is their beef in black bean sauce receipe. It doesn't taste like any beef in black bean sauce I am personally used to and doesn't seem to have any spice kick, was very sweet/sugary.

The patty's they use are of great flavour and their chicken fillet burgers are just as good.

The Jolly Drayman Pub and Hotel

Stayed for two nights. Lovely clean room, comfy bed. Good shower. Fridge and microwave very useful. Thankfully someone had installed a fan, as it was extremely hot when we stayed. Couldn't find a hair dryer to start with then realized it was on the landing with the iron. Good location just a short walk to the station. Good restaurants nearby too. Pub itself very cosy and friendly.

Surprisingly the best curry I've tasted, love coming back, taste delicious as always. Not bland. My fav selection of curry u have to try is the pumpkin curry with aubergine curry. It's good knowing that I feel satisfied even though it contained no meat as I'm usually a meat eater even though there are different curries that contain meat and seafood. I wish it they can open on the weekends too because I get cravings for it.

Kurdish Iraqi Kabab restaurant, has grilled Fish and other middle eastern grills on the menu as well as Doner.

Food is delicious specially the kabab just like in Iraq. The portions are generous. Price is very reasonable.

Staff are friendly. Toilet available and clean enough. Now the downside is the the seatings 3-4 tables for 4 persons and the generals atmosphere is not family or couples. Mostly guys coming back and forth drinking tea and chatting around the restaurant. And had difficulty finding parking spots around the restaurant.

Favourite Iraqi Kurdish restaurant in Kent at the moment. Highly recommend take aways and quick eat ins.

Cant comment on the atmosphere as only get delivery from here.mine and my partners go to for fish and chips.Best in gravesend. Always earlier than stated, always hot.They do the best chicken and mushroom pies.ordered tonight, asked for 2 battered sausages but got 3,not sure if it was a mistake but was appreciated as they where delicious

Eaten here 3 times and each time I was unable to eat it all as you get so much food. I have a huge appetite but I honestly couldn’t eat anymore. If you love breakfasts I highly recommend this place.

The food is excellent, and it's a perfect place for a quick and tasty meal. Their special peri peri grilled chicken is the main reason I came for..the fried chicken was also cooked perfectly, so the meat is really juicy and soft on the inside, and the skin on the outside is a little crispy.
The peri peri sauce is amazing. It has a nice spicy flavor (mild) that is not too strong, so you can still taste the chicken. The service is wonderful with customer oriented staff.
The prices are fair, so you get a lot of good food for what you pay. It’s a great deal for a great meal.

I always enjoy going into a Subway as the bread and choice of fillings and sauces are delicious. I prefer the meal deal and six inch rather than the foot long. This Subway is an ideal location as it's very near my home when I need a quick delicious tea time meal. The staff are always pleasant and it always appears to be a gathering place for teens.
