Tasha fitted in a table of 9 at really short notice we had planned to go to the Toby carvery in Maidstone but they had failed to book the table for another 6 weeks wait ,so off we went to smarden ,we had salt and pepper squid starters and some chips for the rest the food was fresh piping hot and very nice the rest had burgers,fully loaded the roast was 3 slices of meat roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings the veg came separate, with a large dish of cauliflower cheese,sweade,and...read full review

Came here for a Sunday roast - quiet and relaxed atmosphere. GENEROUS portions, great value and great tasting food. My poor waistline My partner had the goat's cheese tart to replace the meat in the roast. Compliments to the chef 10/10.

Caravaning in the freezing cold so went for a hot lunch - delightful experience! Cosy, bright pub, lovely friendly staff, delicious food, nice atmosphere and dog friendly (landlord joked the dogs get fed better than humans - she liked her treat but human food way more tasty!). Definitely recommend.
