Back again for a quick meal after a days filming and photos. Ordered fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding, On walking in we were welcomed with a smile, nice clear bar and front of house seating area Clean glasses and food came out hot and ready to eat. Had heard only good reports of this pub so may brother and I gave it a go for Sunday lunch. He had roast pork and I had roast beef. The vegetables were delicious and plentiful. My brother's pork and my beef covered virtually the whole plate. Both were very tasty and tender. I also had the biggest Yorkshire pudding I have ever had in my whole life! The food was excellent, there was a good selection of well kept real beers and it was an October lunchtime where the sun shone making it warm enough to sit in the garden. One of the finest steak sandwiches you'll ever get to eat.
