Wye, AshfordSaw a really excellent duo playing guitars, The Gaddads, really great evening. The Sawyers is a small place, very eclectic and full of atmosphere. Friendly staff, friendly customers, all in all a fabulous time. Looking forward to going again.

The Flying Horse
Wye Rd, Boughton Lees, AshfordThe rooms are double with comfortable beds. The rooms are upstairs. The decor is dated but it is clean and tidy. The shower pressure was amazing! The continental breakfast was self service toast, panna chocolat, yogurt, tea, juice, cereal, coffee. The staff were really helpful.

Wye Coffee Shop and Kitchen
1 Church St, Wye, AshfordWe have visited before. Had friends to stay from Scotland.
We thought we knew the ideal place to take them to.
Phoned the week before.
Tried booking an afternoon tea but wernt doing them as only one person could do and they were on holiday.
So booked for anormal table. Ordered sandwiches as they didn't have any jacket potatoes. Crust was a bit stale.
Service was okay.

Joshan Of Wye
2-4 High St, Wye, AshfordFrom the moment we walked into Joshan of Wye, we were impressed. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully set a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. But the real star here is the food. Every dish was bursting with flavour, clearly made with fresh ingredients and a lot of care. The presentation was stunning, and the service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but Joshan of Wye absolutely does. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a must visit restaurant. Highly recommended!

The Tickled Trout
2 Bridge St, Wye, AshfordWe had a lovely Bank Holiday Monday lunch at The Tickled Trout in Ashford. The setting is beautiful, with kids and dogs enjoying a splash in the river, and plenty of shade to relax under from the sun. It’s a really welcoming spot with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families. A great place to enjoy good food in a picturesque location – we’ll definitely be back.
