Visiting my mum for Christmas and took her here for lunch. Not only was the food wonderfully cooked but was also generous in portion. Such a quaint and atmospheric little pub hidden in the Kent countryside that was warm and welcoming. Although busy, the staff were friendly, helpful and full of smiles.Highly recommend.
This is a quirky pub that has been in family hands for generations. Little has been changed inside the building. It's a must see pub. The atmosphere is 'country' and clearly a local's venue. People were all very friendly and polite.

The Halfway House, Brenchley is a niche British pub based in the gorgeous Kent countryside. This pub has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a fantastic selection of drinks from local brewed Ales, Ciders and Lagers. When I’ve had the food it’s been quick to come to the table, hot and delicious. The outside bar and seating area is huge making it a great location to catch up with your friends in the summer. I’ll happily recommend this pub to anyone.
