We went for a quiet Sunday Lunch at this charming little pub in Walliswood. I wanted the pork loin roast and my son wanted the roast lamb, sadly one was not on the menu and the other was sold out we think? We chose roast beef as an alternative which had ample gorgeous beef, lovely vegetables but drowned in a very watery gravy with no taste. Congratulations to all concerned - Five Stars All Round. We were out for a drive, saw this pretty pub and thought this is just what we are looking for. So we stopped and took our two dogs in. I was supplied with a chair as I am disabled and cannot manage benches. Then we were served by charming staff with a really delicious, and beautifully presented, meal in such lovely surroundings. A real find and one that others should know about. Jane and Beth

Lovely lunch in their pretty garden with my mum. Lamb pie was tasty but mum's smoked mackerel was totally delicious, so fresh and pretty, it was delightful. Friendly and helpful service too.
