The Plough
Plough Hill, Basted, SevenoaksWe visited the Plough for Sunday lunch, over 20 of us in a walking group visiting for Sunday lunch. Ben the owner is a straight talking man who says it how he sees it. Don’t be put off by that at all, Ben wants everyone’s experience at the Plough to be perfect. We arrived as planned mob handed, the pub was warm and cosy and Ben and his staff gave us a warm welcome. Even though we all arrived together on mass we soon had a drink in our hand and we’re seated ready for lunch, which soon materialised. Everyone got what they had ordered including the vegetarians and vegan who were served up with Bens own recipe nut roast. The nut roast and all the other meals were plentiful and very cooked. Ben was continually asking if everyone was ok and enjoying the food. Thank you Ben and the team for such a lovely experience. Everyone left the pub with full bellies and a spring in our step. We will be returning again thats for sure.
