The Plough
Plough Hill, Basted, SevenoaksAfter our pie and chips at the Plough we went for a walk and ended up in Igtham. We popped into the George and Dragon for a swift half of Shepherd Neames famous Masterbrew as we needed the toilet.
The facade of the pub looks great, and the beer too was good, however Sheppard neame seem to have removed any character from the inside and it could have been anywhere. The staff were playing cards at a table and over all it was soullness.
This is complete contrast to the Plough, which was welcoming, and friendly.
The homemade pies were terrific and the beer was good.

Papermakers Arms
The St, Plaxtol, SevenoaksLovely Village Pub! Very dog friendly, we had a bowl of water and doggy biscuits waiting on our table. The Sunday Roast was delicious, tasted very fresh and the portions were massive. Staff were all welcoming and polite.
