Peggotty's Tea Shoppe
122 High St, TenterdenI have had two birthday afternoon teas here, one a few years ago and one yesterday. Both of the visits were lovely.
Yesterday, I went with my 9 month old daughter and mother, the lovely staff supplied a chair-top booster seat and our waitress was so, so helpful. The sandwiches were delicious, the scones and cakes were amazing and we took the leftovers home in a box for later. Very highly recommended ?

75 High St, TenterdenA LOVELY family restaurant set in Tenterden high street but easy to miss!
The staff make this place the warm welcome to attentive professional table service. As we left they all gathered to say goodbye to us. We were celebrating an unannounced birthday when they found out they really made it special for us.
The food was excellent!
The compliments could go on but try it for yourself you’ll see what I mean.
We didn’t get the chance to try out the cafe’ at the rear but it looked every bit as nice as the main restaurant.
For travellers there’s car parking to the rear it’s free after 6pm otherwise it’s a pay via app as is the rest of the area. There’s also limited street parking.
The access is up a small flight of steps but for mobility there’s a side door with no steps if you need it.
I highly recommend a visit here we found it to be very special.

Bottega Montalbano Gelato
3 Highbury Ln, TenterdenNice Italian place.
We stopped here for a coffee and a pastry, which, I must say, they were authentic and tasty, the coffee also was creamy enough.
We saw they have a restaurant just around the corner, and they also sale 100% italian products.

Biddenden Rd, St Michaels, High Halden, TenterdenI went for an early Mother's day treat with my daughter. We really enjoyed the evening. The staff were very attentive, the service was quick and the food was delicious.
We thought it was good value for money and we will definitely go again.

The Latte Lounge
Unit 2-3, Coombe House, Coombe Ln, TenterdenWe got the Latte Lounge to do the catering for my Nans funeral. We chose the "End of life" cold buffet. It was absolutely spot on, delicious sandwiches, gorgeous savoury pastries, scotch eggs and more.... All freshly homemade. There was plenty to feed everyone! The amount of people that commented on how fabulous the food tasted (which was many) was the result of the professionalism of Sharen and her team. Thank you for taking care of us xx

Truffles at Coco
128 High St, TenterdenThis is such a fabulous little place to visit. Their chocolate selection is wonderful and Kevin is so knowledgable about the sweet treats he makes. Sitting outside drinking coffee and watching the world go by is a great way to spend time and is made even more special with a few chocolates.

8 Sayers Lane, TenterdenWow…I have hunted for hot coffee for some time now. Over the years Big well known coffee shops giving me warm coffee has left me asking for everything “extra hot” but today I found the perfect hot coffee in this lovely cafe in Tenterden. Well done very hot coffee and lovely tea cake as well as nice low key music and a very friendly chap single handily running the place. Very happy place to stop for a break while in tenterden.

Tenterden Station, Station Rd, TenterdenThe best taproom in Kent. Bar none!! Family run. Family vibes. Great music. Great food. Extensive beer wall. Working my way through it. Tom is a fountain of knowledge and clearly loves his beer and what he offers. Great to find a place that not only caters the unique side of craft beer but also the unique side of actually being in love with the craft. Bravo. Can’t wait to come back and see what new treats they have for us!!!

There was hardly any parking so not great if you have little kids but website does say that to be fair. Very attentive and communication from Amy was fantastic. Defo would go back!

13-15 High Street, TenterdenExcellent service and food and drinks great. However, as a general review of all “Costas”, they all need a bit of a refresh. They all seem to have shabby paintwork and stained chairs and are looking “tired”. Time for some re-investment me thinks.

I recently visited with a group of friends, and we were blown away by the quality and flavor of every dish. From the fiery and flavorful 'Shahi Naga Murgh' to the melt-in-your-mouth 'Lamb Shank' and the perfectly spiced 'Mughal Lamb Chops', each plate was a masterpiece. Even the 'vegan curry' was a triumph, and the 'chicken, lamb and king prawn biryani' was a true feast.
Every single one of my friends raved about their meals, and we all agreed that the food was simply outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome and enhancing the overall experience.
Badsha Indian Cuisine offers a fine dining experience that is second to none. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality Indian food in a warm and inviting atmosphere, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return!

Coffee, company and staff were great for a lovely Sunday break from our trip through Kent’s gorgeous countryside of hamlets.
