The Rose 'N' Bowl

5 of us visited the rose n bowl today for lunch, we had the 2 courses for £13\n4 choices of starter and 4 of main\nAll of us enjoyed everything, I in particular had the peppercorn sauce chicken and wow it was lovely. Everything was seasoned well and served hot which isn’t the case at most Carvery’s. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely be back

The Swan Indian Dining

First time visit and was fantastic. Excellent surroundings and great staff. Prompt service and delicious food. Well priced and a great visit. I’ll be back. Heard it had a top reputation, and it didn’t disappoint. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful local restaurant serving the best of Italian food put together by Mario and his experienced team of experts\n\nMario’s menu contains all the staples you might expect to find as well as house specials and imaginative one offs tailored to your needs. There’s Pizzas, Pastas and sumptuous meat or veggie dishes all of which are exquisite and the service is overseen by Mario himself making sure you always get the best service\n\nCocktails are fabulous and a great selection of wines, beers and spirits are all available\n\nWe visit regularly and long may we continue

Anna's Cafe-Bar

Absolutely cracking brekkie. Served all 12 of us and 2 dogs, made us feel very welcomed, breakfast was absolutely lovely and served with no issues. Hardly any waiting time. Thankyou.

Nellie's

Me and my mate Keith just drove 15 miles which we do regular to have our weekend breakfast. It’s that good we would go further. Fantastic food all freshly cooked. The staff are very polite and courteous and very professional. I highly recommend anyone to pop over and treat themselves 10 / 10

1832 Barista

Delightful cafe in Bacup.
The best cheese on toast I have ever eaten.
Yorkshire Tea was spot on.
Will definitely visit again.

Bammys

Apparently, someone called Stuart Rodgers as flagged Bammys off for refusing an undated voucher that he insisted was issued by Bammys.
Untrue. The vouchers were part of a joint enterprise between the Royal Oak and themselves. All vouchers were issued by me and were dated. This particular one was dated 8th July last year
If Mr Rodgers wants to make himself known to me and tell how he acquired said voucher, we may be able to resolve this matter

The Crown Inn

Noi food served here anymore, unfortunately.
A lovely real pub. Good selection of drinks and friendly service. A great place for a pint mid walk or a few with friends

Happy Garden Chinese Takeaway

The best Chinese takeaway place there is. Never been unsatisfied food is always Prestine and up to standards. I order from here dozens of times a year and have never had a one fault with it. Overall it’s a brill takeaway and would highly recommend

The George And Dragon

Great pub and the food is absolutely fantastic. If you're in the area and you need something to eat and drink get in there or if you are local get it delivered. You'll not be disappointed ?

Fryer Goggins

We recently moved to the area and this has become our go-to takeaway. The quality is absolutely fabulous, the portions are SO generous, and the people who work in there are always really welcoming and friendly. Best chinese takeaway we've ever had!!

Bacup Balti

Everything is perfect. We had meat samosas as starter, lamb biryani as main. Both were very very tasty. Delicious. One of the best Indian take aways we ever had. Highly recommended. Worth the money.

The Queen Hotel

Lovely country pub full of locals, lovely people and dog friendly. Good choice of ales and lagers. Open fire in the back room and a lovely little beer garde for the summer months.

Britannia Chip Shop

Excellent little chip shop, not tried the Chinese food yet but everything cooked so fresh in the chip shop, curry sauce to die for and good old chunky chips would definitely recommend

New Inn

Called in to meet an old friend on a sunday. Never been before. Seems like nice friendly local pub. Karaoke night seemed popular. Can't comment on food, not sure if they do food?

Pavillion Express

Incredible.

A last minute decision to have a take away instead of cooking tea. So glad we did.

Tikka masala’s, shashliks, poppadoms, naan breads. All super tasty. Portions were good! Chicken in the shashlik was massive.

Food arrive earlier than stated, good portion size and tasty food, had peri peri wrap which was nice, the only thing maybe put a little extra salad on but other than that really nice and will be ordering again. Delivery driver friendly too!

Ashton’s Fish and Chips

Found this chippy after googling and finding out all other chippys around me are shut on weekends.. when I went in I couldn’t have been greeted by nicer staff.
The prices are the cheapest I’ve seen especially for fish and chips. We even got a freebie from the dessert counter which my son was very excited with. they have brought out burgers ? which we will definitely try during the week! Definitely recommend this place!

Ordered veggie volacno , fries and dessert. Amazing like always. The pizza is loaded to perfection. Garlic bread was average. Garlic mayo is to die for. My go to pizza place.

The Cornerstone

The food was brought in, but the venue itself seemed nice and fit a purpose to book for a small party.
Fitted a bouncing castle in there and had a stage/dance floor

Pizza Uno

If you want a good pizza ask for Sam to make it. Mmmmmm mmmm. You can tell he has passion. A very polite young man. He has changed what I used to think about pizza uno. It's a shame others don't work like he does the place would be mint

Pizza Costa Bacup

This place makes the best kebabs, we came across on our visit to Bacup now we travel by car for 30 mins to visit and i have a kebab shop at the end of my road!Very polite gentleman and great service.Very tasty and cooked beautifully.

California Fried Chicken

Thought it was about time I wrote a review on this place after eating here most weekends. I can honestly say’s it’s the Best chicken burgers, fried chicken and pizzas in the area. Every single other takeaway around the rawtenstall waterfoot bacup area do not even come close! Love their coleslaw aswell.

The Queens

In her current state she is not worth 4 stars, to be honest, but she has a long history so I gave a couple of stars as a tribute to the old girl. I first met this lady over 30 years ago and she was getting on a bit then. You get the feeling that it won't be long before she meets the same fate as many of the other great Bacup pubs.

Tony's Pizza & Kebab House

Come from south wales, late night hunt for some food and the guys at Tony helped us out. I had the chicken tikka kebab which was just amazing and thank you for the pizza ;) very kind

The best takeaway ever! Ordered from here for years and regular customers and tonight I accidentally put the wrong address down and I rang and they sorted it out straight away!
