The Rose 'N' Bowl

Good quality Sunday roast, you might be able to get a cheaper roast elsewhere but it wouldn’t be as good as at the Rose and Bowl. The portions are generous and they’re replenished often and served with a smile and a kind word.

Mario's

Big credit to will he has been very welcoming on all visits, very attentive and helpful always working hard great food. Even Mario always coming out of the kitchen to check on everything. Brilliant restaurant brilliant service.

The Swan Indian Dining

Having lived back in the area for a few years and never tried the swan, wishing we had sooner.

Ella was really kind and kept checking on us to see how we are, good service with cracking food, would highly recommend any problems you had were quickly catered for, such as an empty glass x

1832 Barista

Popped in last Friday for an acoustic gig and wasn’t sure what to expect when I heard it was in a coffee shop — but I was genuinely impressed.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, the service spot-on, and the chairs? Surprisingly comfy!

From the moment we arrived, both ladies made us feel completely at home warm, welcoming, and never letting our glasses run dry with a generous flow of prosecco and spirits.

The stone-baked pizzas were absolutely delicious, and the cheese boards? Next-level indulgence.

They even offered takeaway boxes so we could enjoy the leftovers later such a thoughtful touch.

All that, and really reasonably priced too. A hidden gem.

Came to this lovely cafe other day with a friend,ordered the lamb shanks absolutely amazing lunch with two lattes I live few miles away but it was well worth the trip will definitely be coming again,

The Crown Inn

Very nice pub with a real fire and 3 cask ales. Prices very reasonable and the staff and customers have always been fantastic when we've visited. Great place for a quiet couple of pints during the week

Bammys

Wonderful place, with very friendly people. Very tasty English food. Very easy to find. Strongly recommend for everyone who want to eat proper English Breakfast and much more. Takeway also available so if is bad weather make an order by phone. No steps so wheelchair or buggies have no trouble to step in. Strongly recommend for disabled people and mothers with prams.

New Inn

The fact that this pub has banned kids makes me want to drink there if I'm ever in the area.
I'm sick of being subjected to the noise and mess created by other people's kids in pubs restaurants and cafés.
There are plenty of other places that people can take their kids.
Having said all that, the buckstops with the selfish parents who let them do what the like.

Happy Garden Chinese Takeaway

The best Chinese takeaway place there is. Never been unsatisfied food is always Prestine and up to standards. I order from here dozens of times a year and have never had a one fault with it. Overall it’s a brill takeaway and would highly recommend

Ashton’s Fish and Chips

First time customer. Fish and chips. Fish fresh cooked as I waited, be careful if you ask for small chips it's MASSIVE. Great service, friendly staff, good product. Please please use cash. Cash is King. Help the small business.

The Queen Hotel

Lovely country pub full of locals, lovely people and dog friendly. Good choice of ales and lagers. Open fire in the back room and a lovely little beer garde for the summer months.

The George And Dragon

Great pub and the food is absolutely fantastic. If you're in the area and you need something to eat and drink get in there or if you are local get it delivered. You'll not be disappointed ?

Fryer Goggins

Super friendly staff, honestly really amazing quality chips just honestly really good grub. I'd super recommend. Keep in mind this is a cash only business and the phone wasn't working when I tried but was open when I came.

Bacup Balti

Everything is perfect. We had meat samosas as starter, lamb biryani as main. Both were very very tasty. Delicious. One of the best Indian take aways we ever had. Highly recommended. Worth the money.

Britannia Chip Shop

Excellent little chip shop, not tried the Chinese food yet but everything cooked so fresh in the chip shop, curry sauce to die for and good old chunky chips would definitely recommend

Great burgers cant fault them and i like the pizzas just a bit burnt on the crust possibly too high temp when cooked or cooked for slightly too long. im not gonna say there bad pizzas tho as i like them well made just slightly burnt stuffed crust is not the best

In her current state she is not worth 4 stars, to be honest, but she has a long history so I gave a couple of stars as a tribute to the old girl. I first met this lady over 30 years ago and she was getting on a bit then. You get the feeling that it won't be long before she meets the same fate as many of the other great Bacup pubs.

California Fried Chicken

Thought it was about time I wrote a review on this place after eating here most weekends. I can honestly say’s it’s the Best chicken burgers, fried chicken and pizzas in the area. Every single other takeaway around the rawtenstall waterfoot bacup area do not even come close! Love their coleslaw aswell.

Pavillion Express

Nice chicken tikka and lamb chops very tender, tasty special pilau rice, the only thing which spoiled it a bit was the chips they were a bit crunchy, other than that great food ,but saying that it should be for nearly £50.

The Cornerstone

The food was brought in, but the venue itself seemed nice and fit a purpose to book for a small party.
Fitted a bouncing castle in there and had a stage/dance floor

Venice Stars

Ordered veggie volacno , fries and dessert. Amazing like always. The pizza is loaded to perfection. Garlic bread was average. Garlic mayo is to die for. My go to pizza place.

If you want a good pizza ask for Sam to make it. Mmmmmm mmmm. You can tell he has passion. A very polite young man. He has changed what I used to think about pizza uno. It's a shame others don't work like he does the place would be mint

Pizza Costa Bacup

This place makes the best kebabs, we came across on our visit to Bacup now we travel by car for 30 mins to visit and i have a kebab shop at the end of my road!Very polite gentleman and great service.Very tasty and cooked beautifully.

Tony's Pizza & Kebab House

Superb every time I’ve ordered. My go to for pizza. I usually use Rossendale Eats app. I messed up and ordered for collection and they rang me then agreed to deliver it anyway. Best in the area.
