Food was lovely, the host Mario was great too! Unfortunately we only realised once we left we had been charged for 2 drinks that we didn’t have.. likely a honest mistake though.

We were in dire need of somewhere to get some food and drink and stopped off in Bacup where we found this place. The staff were lovely and very helpful, nice atmosphere too.Vegetarian options: A bit limited in choice but we got by okay.

The Rose 'N' Bowl

Lively and helpful members of staff. Food was really really good especially the carvings. Ambience was good but only that we didn't get a table in a nice spot as place was fully booked. Was mother's day. Will definitely go back.

The Swan Indian Dining

Had a birthday party meal in here and I/we we're very impressed with the attention we received from the staff. The fantastic food we received and the atmosphere all put together resulted in a great meal out and a place we'll be visiting again.

Anna's Cafe-Bar

My first time here. Went with a friend, who highly recommended it. Was amazing. The food was excellent, service again excellent. Ambiance was lovely. Will definitely be back.

Bacup Balti

Everything is perfect. We had meat samosas as starter, lamb biryani as main. Both were very very tasty. Delicious. One of the best Indian take aways we ever had. Highly recommended. Worth the money.

Happy Garden Chinese Takeaway

The best Chinese in the valley by far!! the spare ribs are like no others I’ve ever tried. Great quality food at a decent price the delivery driver Adam is always polite and very trustworthy as I was giving him a £20 and a £10 note thinking it was 2x £10 notes but he told me straight away it was to much and gave me £10 back. Most other drivers would of pocketed that for them selves THANKS AGAIN ADAM and keep up the good food happy garden

The Crown Inn

Called in one Friday evening. It was well supported by the locals, many enjoying a real ale from the 3 on offer. Plenty of parking outside the pub. Visited as a one off, but would visit again if I was in the area ?

Great prices, clean establishment, friendly owner. But I'd love it if they used real butter instead of margarine on their butty's. I'd definitely pay extra if they had to increase prices for it.

I have been in the cafe and order food I got a fuzzy child who fuzzy with food but he tried there food and he loved it we had breakfast today and corn beef and poatoes pie and wrap so myself my hubby and my child had a amazing food today well done to staff you are doing a fab job glad to be able to write this well recommended this cafe to you all I be coming agian on Saturday xxx

Ashton’s Fish and Chips

Amazing fish and chips!Coming from Canada I've been traveling Scotland and England and this is the best fish and chips I've come across. The chips are phenomenal and the fish is cooked fresh per order.Worth a drive out if you don't leave near!

The Queen Hotel

Lovely country pub full of locals, lovely people and dog friendly. Good choice of ales and lagers. Open fire in the back room and a lovely little beer garde for the summer months.

Britannia Chip Shop

Excellent little chip shop, not tried the Chinese food yet but everything cooked so fresh in the chip shop, curry sauce to die for and good old chunky chips would definitely recommend

Wayne and Wendy serve probably the best fish and chips on this side of Lancashire. Their Chinese food isn't bad either! Wouldn't it be nice if all chippies were like this?

The George And Dragon

Almost ashamed to say it has been a number of years since I last visited!! Very smart and clean. Staff and locals very friendly. Beer excellent. Hopefully won't be as long before I call in again. Has pool, darts, tv, bandits etc.

Great pub with friendly staff and customers. Had my wedding here last year and couldn't fault anything. Brilliant function room for anyone wanting a party or special occasion. Snooker and Pool available and even Dart boards if you fancy a game.

In her current state she is not worth 4 stars, to be honest, but she has a long history so I gave a couple of stars as a tribute to the old girl. I first met this lady over 30 years ago and she was getting on a bit then. You get the feeling that it won't be long before she meets the same fate as many of the other great Bacup pubs.

Very good portion sizes and food was fresh not like other places where they serve day old rubbish. Delivered very fast and food was hot, Pizza was 10/10 even the kids didnt complain which was a surprise

We regularly get takeaways from Venice and the past few weeks they’ve been really really good. Even before this they were nice but since their refurbishment they’ve delivered lovely food each time.The pizza isn’t greasy or oily, their chips have always been pretty spot on, thin and relatively crispy. We have tried a couple of different takeaways in Bacup and have found this one to be our favourite.Would certainly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

If you want a good pizza ask for Sam to make it. Mmmmmm mmmm. You can tell he has passion. A very polite young man. He has changed what I used to think about pizza uno. It's a shame others don't work like he does the place would be mint

This place makes the best kebabs, we came across on our visit to Bacup now we travel by car for 30 mins to visit and i have a kebab shop at the end of my road!Very polite gentleman and great service.Very tasty and cooked beautifully.
