1st time visiting, as we're moving into the area.Have to say the food was phenomenal and the staff were very friendly and attentive.Unfortunately they had an issue with the cellar due to the weather but can't fault them for an act of God!In our book it just gives us another reason to visit again (which we were going to do anyway after the delight that was dinner) to try some of the local draft ales.
Brilliant grass roots gastropub. Brilliant service, large yet not overwhelming menu with all sorts of great food for all budgets, food was excellent, was very quiet but still brilliant setup. Will definitely be going back.

Nice and cosy atmosphere, staff was great. Sad to say that the food left us wishing for more. I had the noodles which were quite bland, and was not impressed with the ingredients quality or taste. However my parents steak was lovely, well cooked and nicely presented.
