We’ve been visiting the Freemasons for many years even though it is over a 40 mile round trip for us. The food is always excellent coupled with first rate service and well kept ales. Yesterday’s lunch was as good as always and makes us wish we lived closer by. I chose the lamb starter followed by the 0xtail & beef pudding finished with a lovely dessert. Having not dined at the Freemasons for a few years, decided to have a birthday lunch there. What a great choice. Chef(s) were bang on form yesterday. Had the lunch menu and all six dishes we had between us were amazing. Would gladly go back today for the same thing.

Had such an amazing stay here staying in mr Fox. The staff were fantastic and very attentive, the room was absolutely stunning and the food…. Out of this world! Definitely will be returning .
