Heard good things about The Eagle ?. We had the mixed starter between 2 - plenty for 3 to share to be fair. Followed by fillet steak. Food well presented & prefect portion size. Shared the apple crumble desert. Staff were lovely & the place was cozy & welcoming, having never been here before, would definitely return, would be lovely in the summer to sit outside.
Had been here a few times before to meet up with family. On all previous occasions we have had a good experience and although the food was ok the service was poor. The restaurant manager acted like he didn’t want to be there and had forgotten how to smile and the service was extremely slow. Doubtful we will return.
