Craig and Adam and their team were fantastic! We have just celebrated my daughter’s “line dancing” themed party and both the management and staff along with the venue were spectacular! I can’t praise them enough. So very helpful, the food was as requested and very very good. The staff were all extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The “party room” is a fantastic addition to an already great venue and the French boules pit was the location for our line dancing tuition. Again, Adam helped out with making sure the entertainment had everything required and made the day run so very smooth. (Quick note to the Landlords, he is a credit to your establishment) in summary, whether you are planning a party or visiting for food (which is great) or just calling in for a drink, you won’t find a more welcoming and comfortable venue than the Rose and Crown. Thanks again guys

I booked a table for a ladies tea time get together. Just before Christmas.
We really enjoyed it . The food was fab I had the fajitas as did 2 other friends and one of our party had a chicken burger with fries .
The food was hot . Didn't take too long to arrive and was very good.
The atmosphere was lively but not too busy that you couldn't chat.
Although the landlord was a little stressed as staff had rang in sick on what was a busy night he ploughed through with humour . Absolutely no ines fault that people are sick . But I'm sure he felt like he needed another 2 pairs of hands and was exhausted by the end of the night. So hats off to him. We all enjoyed our evening though. So thankyou. We Will be back .

Update since last visit.

Really friendly staff, took the time out for a natter between courses. Food is of excellent quality and good portion sizes. Prices are more than reasonable. Would recommend the Bangla Spice to anyone looking for a good Indian restaurant. My wife and I are going to be coming here often

Plenty of parking round the back if the front is full.

A hidden gem in Leyland!
Farington Chippy is absolutely spotless – sparkling silver, clean glass counters, and beautiful tiled walls give it a fresh, modern feel. It’s a cute little find with big charm.

The staff are so lovely and friendly. There’s a relaxed, beachy vibe inside with decorations, menu boards and seating.

Now, the food… wow. Cooked fresh to order, everything goes straight from the fryer into your bag. It’s well worth the wait for each to prepared, because the freshness and flavour are unmatched. The fish is flaky with light, crisp batter. The chips are tasty and golden, and the mushy peas are proper traditional ones – definitely not tinned. Even the barm cakes were spot on!

This place takes pride in quality, and it shows. Highly recommend if you’re after proper fish and chips done right.

Went to eat here for the first time after visiting for a drink last week. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. We had Gyros, Lamb kleftiko and waffles to finish. All was washed down with Peroni for my partner and cola for me. Would highly recommend. Friendly customers also and it’s clean.

Banging saturday night scran, just ordered some standard kebabs and the portions are huge- honestly considered they’d sent the wrong food! Chicken especially is really juicy and tasty, none of the naff dry stuff. Delivery driver was friendly and had a smile unlike most. Speedy delivery and hot food! No complaints

Was quite busy with the rugby on giving a good atmosphere. Service was great, when the bar got busy the chef came out and got the drinks served before going back in the kitchen and making us a tasty meal. It was good to see all the staff pulling together to make a pleasant visit.
