It’s not often I visit somewhere and the Spoons trumps the lot of them. A great pub particularly if the weather is conducive to sitting out on the upstairs terrace. Prompt, efficient service with a great choice of ales.

Cheap and cheerful place and starting to look a bit run down. Food and alcohol is quite cheap. Have a lot of students drinking in here as there is a university close by. Quite often when we have been in the tables haven't been cleared quickly enough so you have to move them yourself into a nearby table, if one is free, then ask the waitress to wipe the table when they bring your food. Manners cost nothing. The server today who served our meals banged our food down and looked miserable…. Then banged our cutlery down too. Ive never had service like that in court leet before what a shame we had a poor experience. A young man behind the bar however was a breath of fresh air, polite efficient and manners didn’t get his name but had a little pony tail well done to you!
