66 Main St, Warton, CarnforthWhat an amazing place, food was absolutely gorgeous & Laura & Alan made the whole experience even better! We had the fish, chips & mushy peas, the hand cooked chips were wow! Lovely fresh fish & home made tartar sauce. The real surprise & extra treat was their home made onion rings which were pickled onion rings!!! A first for us & they were amazing! Went brilliantly with the fish, can't recommend this place enough ? Wish it was our local but just visiting from Merseyside. Will definitely come back again though. Colin & Jacqui.

The George Washington
Main St, Warton, CarnforthWe stayed for 2 nights in this homely Inn which is a very old historical building run by a lovely couple. We were warmly welcomed by Janet and shown to our room which was a good size with an en suite shower room. The bed was very comfortable and was stocked with tea and coffee and complimentary bottles of water. There is a bar with a good range of well stocked real ales. Food is served on the evenings with the vast majority home made using locally sourced ingredients. It’s really good quality pub food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is included in the price and it is a quality full English with plenty of toast and tea/coffee. There is also a range of cereals and orange juice. Warton is a small village close to Carnforth and a great base to explore the local area and very close to the M6. The George Washington is excellent value and we look forward to staying again.

Pine lake Restaurant
Warton, CarnforthRestaurant not open so ate at bar. Slow service considering not many other customers. Food excellent, perfect jacket potato , however cheese and beans give separately which some may not like. Tuna melt ciabatta was perfect, fries were phenomenal, even the side salad was tasty.

Waters Edge Restaurant & Bar
South Lakeland Leisure Village, Borwick Ln, Warton, CarnforthWas on a course had to take a pack lunch as kitchen not open staff friendly and helpful but lots of maintenance needed conner covers of tracking falling tables set for dinner just little attention to detail of what room is being used for. Nice views out to lake and decor in bar area

The Birley Arms Hotel
Bryning Ln, PrestonThe rooms are dated and could do with being upgraded. The staff were pleasant and helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a little bit of a shame on mother's day due to lack of staff. They are dog friendly though.
