The place is lovely. I’ve been many times however I was disappointed on nye. We had booked via the website and the menu that we had on arrival was different to the one on the website. It wasn’t a breakfast menu it was a brunch that also cost more than I had planned . I won’t fault the food as it was lovely however we should’ve been told about this before we arrived. I love the monkey tree… always amazing service, food and drinks! I’ve tried the champagne breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea (obviously not on the same day ?) and all have been perfect. Thank you!

Visited here with local friends for a special birthday. They were more than accommodating when we dropped off balloons and cake in advance and arranged champagne on the table for our arrival. Place isn’t too big so nice and cosy. All staff friendly and efficient and food was amazing. We all had the tomahawk and it was cooked to perfection ?.
