Starters - Poppadoms , salt and pepper paneer and tandoori salmon ( slightly extra charge for the salmon )
Mains - butter chicken and chicken tikka masala.
Sides - onion and potato naan and saffron boiled rice.
Drinks - mocktail fruit crush and a mango lassi.
Service was bang on. No complaints and waiting time was nice and short.
The starters was absolutely lovely no complaints.
The mains were a bit hit and miss.
The butter chicken was very tasty but tikka masala unfortunately didnt hit the spot for me. It tasted like a ready meal.
Drinks were nice and refreshing but the lassi lacked presentation. ( I say this based on other places selling the same made a great presentation of lassi. )
Saffron rice was lovely and light along with the naan too. Probably would return to try other dishes.
Decent atmosphere there too. Tables wasn't too crammed together. Plenty there too.
Overall decent visit.

Five Ways, Wolvey, HinckleyJust loved this place. Portion sizes are good and reasonably priced, so you can try as many dishes as you want. They have a variety of vegetarian dishes as well. Service is quick, and the staff is very polite.

8 Hollier's Walk, HinckleyIf you're unsure about trying Nepalese food, don't be. There are a lot of dishes you'll recognise, like those you get in Indian takeaways, but momos are the exception and taste amazing from here. Also, in comparison, the dishes are so fresh. Definitely will be our go-to curry house.

My partner had a stir fry in Oyster sauce and loved it. We both shared a mixed starter which was delightful. Reasonably priced too. Would 100% Recommend and we can’t wait to return

We tried the food from 7H restaurant on our travel from London and we must say that the price and quality of South Indian food available here is par above from what we get London. A lot of South Indian varieties are there and we tried chicken kothu parotta, chettinadu chicken curry, sambar vada, minced meat rice, Butter Naan etc. Definitely recommend this place and will visit again if we pass through this place.

The Crescent, HinckleyWe had a baby shower meal for a friend here and tarro lounge were very accommodating. On arrival we had bought decorations and a cake and nothing was too much trouble for Fossey, finding us vases, a cake stand and little bits to make the table look lovely! They were also very accommodating for such a big group of us! Would definitely recommend, we had a lovely afternoon! :)

I had the lamb kebabs with salad and rice, and, OMG.... They were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious ?
The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were great. They were super friendly, and we didn't have to wait too long, despite it being a busy Saturday night.
It is in a good location within Hinckley and there is parking available a short walk away.

I don't like pulled pork.. but the lady gave me a little taste of the pulled pork they serve..and it was lovely..so decided to get a big American burger with pulled pork.. and it was the best burger I've ever had.. absolutely lovely....I've been to burger houses all over the UK..and nothing comes close to these burgers . .well worth the price I payed ..will be definitely be going back here .. 100%..

314 Coventry Rd, HinckleyFirst time I've visited and I have to say what an amazing place. We arrived early but that wasn't a problem at all for the staff took us straight to out table and got our drinks order while we looked at the menu they did not rush us at all.
The food was served quickly but was presented beautifully and was piping hot.
The atmosphere was amazing staff took time to speak to us and were happy to get us everything we asked for. Nothing was to much trouble for them at all.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for Indian food there is a English section and kids menu too

It's usually super busy and nowhere to park my van, but I got lucky. I had chips and gravy, hand on my heart, I was literally blown away with the chips. Never tried chips like them melt in the mouth, soft and fluffy. I'll be back !!

22-24 The Borough, HinckleyBooked a surprise meal for my Husband's 40th birthday, and was given the private area upstairs for my large party of 26 people. We had access to our own bar and we had our own music by connecting Bluetooth to their sound system. The whole event was made very special and, Mike and the staff really looked after us. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the desserts. Would highly recommend it if you want a large gathering for a special occasion.

There is a very small step to get in or out of the shop.

The staff, all of whom appeared related, were welcoming, professional and friendly. Finding a table was no trouble and we were quickly and comfortably seated.\nThe meal was delicious, the background music just that, in the background and the staff were all anxious to be of assistance. It is a joy to find staff, all knowledgeable, who enjoy their work and are keen for you, the customer, to enjoy their time. There was no pressure to hurry and we finished the meal with liqueur coffees, that completed a perfect visit. Thank you.

They accommodated us very ladt minute (with in half an hour of me calling to book) with fantastic service. The lovely lady Liz that cleared the tables between pir courses was lovely as was the amazing waitress hthst brought everything out ( Unfortunately I didn't catch her name) the barstaff were also wonderful. Thank you for making our family boxing day meal memorable. Xx

We went on a Saturday evening as a walk-in and they were very accommodating and found us a table.
The serving staff were really polite and friendly and the eating area was nicely decorated and clean.
I had Garlic and Thyme lamb and my wife had the pie of the day and both were really tasty. They came out in good time, on clean plates and were nice and hot. We both had desert too and these were also really good.
The price is reasonable and there is also a decent sized, free carpark opposite for patrons.
All in all this was a lovely pub for a meal and I'd happily recommend it if you're in the area.

The food is very nice, especially at the price point. I had the sizzler platter and masala fries, the wife had a paneer curry and both were really good. The restaurant has a nice relaxing and friendly feel to it with a decent selection of drinks on tap.

5-7 Regent St, HinckleyWe held a hen do away from home. With little knowledge of the area we started ringing pubs & venue to assist with the “party” part of the do. We came across the Crafty Baron. They were up for it, promised to help set up and helped with a semi private area of the pub. I honestly thought they’d over promised and over sold. Man, was I so wrong. We dropped of the decorations and went back hours later to a semi private area set up and decorated. The lady was excited to show us what she had decorated. And boy did it look amazing! She’d taken her time and it looked so good. Her vibe and anticipation really set the tone. She was amazing.
The bar staff were great and joined in with the silliness from us girls. The juke box was good with music playing all night. The lady previously mentioned came up with ideas that just made the night better.
Everybody was welcoming and lovely. Drinks were great and reasonably priced and drink we did!
All in all a rememberable night and an experience we would not have got from anywhere else. This pub really made the hen do fun and we would not have had such a incredible event without them

Upper Bond St, HinckleyMe and my band had the pleasure of playing at this delightful charming pub last night. The Landlady and her daughter could not have been more helpful, we are a 6 piece band and space was tight. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff and customers who I have to say seems to be one big black horse family , moved furniture around for us amazing. We have played a few local pubs now and have to say the Black Horse has great staff, friendly lively atmosphere created by the everyone there who all joined in and were singing and dancing. We had a great night, will definitely be coming back hopefully with the band but definitely as a customer .

1A New Buildings, HinckleyVisited for the first time and were incredibly well looked after, if you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch in and around Hinckley this is the place to visit. The brekkie is superb and coffee so much better than the big chains. If you think about Starbucks with its overpriced coffee, filthy tables and unbothered staff and compare with Stockwells it’s worlds apart. Nice touch today too, we had 4 coffees in total and on leaving were handed a loyalty card with the 4 coffees stamped. It’s the little things that count.

3-5 New Buildings, HinckleyRoss and all of his colleagues were so lovely! And welcoming they defiantly have humour ? brilliant evening out and the food is spectacular! The presentation of the starters and main courses were beautifully presented.

Tarro Lounge
The Crescent, HinckleyWe had a baby shower meal for a friend here and tarro lounge were very accommodating. On arrival we had bought decorations and a cake and nothing was too much trouble for Fossey, finding us vases, a cake stand and little bits to make the table look lovely! They were also very accommodating for such a big group of us! Would definitely recommend, we had a lovely afternoon! :)

I had the lamb kebabs with salad and rice, and, OMG.... They were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious ?
The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were great. They were super friendly, and we didn't have to wait too long, despite it being a busy Saturday night.
It is in a good location within Hinckley and there is parking available a short walk away.

Anchor Inn, 63 Church St, Burbage, HinckleyA great pub, good ales, friendly atmosphere. The staff were excellent, very approachable and efficient. The locals were all congenial and allowed us as a choir to sing. I would thoroughly recommend this pub; Maia the manager was brilliant.

I don't like pulled pork.. but the lady gave me a little taste of the pulled pork they serve..and it was lovely..so decided to get a big American burger with pulled pork.. and it was the best burger I've ever had.. absolutely lovely....I've been to burger houses all over the UK..and nothing comes close to these burgers . .well worth the price I payed ..will be definitely be going back here .. 100%..

Beer is spot on along with the cobs and snacks.

127 Upper Bond St, HinckleyI received the distillery tour and gin making class as a gift for my 30th birthday. I’ve never done it before, but it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were informative, friendly and very funny. The experience itself of actually making our own gin and being able to pick all the ingredients was brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone. 314 Coventry Rd, HinckleyFirst time I've visited and I have to say what an amazing place. We arrived early but that wasn't a problem at all for the staff took us straight to out table and got our drinks order while we looked at the menu they did not rush us at all.
The food was served quickly but was presented beautifully and was piping hot.
The atmosphere was amazing staff took time to speak to us and were happy to get us everything we asked for. Nothing was to much trouble for them at all.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for Indian food there is a English section and kids menu too
