Thought we'd try the midweek offer..... 3 dishes for £16.
Starters - Poppadoms , salt and pepper paneer and tandoori salmon ( slightly extra charge for the salmon )
Mains - butter chicken and chicken tikka masala.
Sides - onion and potato naan and saffron boiled rice.
Drinks - mocktail fruit crush and a mango lassi.
Service was bang on. No complaints and waiting time was nice and short.
The starters was absolutely lovely no complaints.
The mains were a bit hit and miss.
The butter chicken was very tasty but tikka masala unfortunately didnt hit the spot for me. It tasted like a ready meal.
Drinks were nice and refreshing but the lassi lacked presentation. ( I say this based on other places selling the same made a great presentation of lassi. )
Saffron rice was lovely and light along with the naan too. Probably would return to try other dishes.
Decent atmosphere there too. Tables wasn't too crammed together. Plenty there too.
Overall decent visit.

This restaurant is based in a lovely, quiet area (Wolvey, which is near Nuneaton). The atmosphere was relaxed, and friendly, the music wasn't too loud. The food was absolutely delicious! \nThe staff were quick, and helpful, I have a weird allergy but they accomodated me perfectly. \nThe food is inexpensive for what you get, the meals are big enough to fill you up. We didn't have to wait at all for a table, but we did go on a Tuesday lunch time. \n\nAll in all, I definitely recommend it, the only downside, is it's not easy to get to without a car, but obviously they can't do anything about that.

The food is amazing, they will make your meal how you prefer, whether mild, medium or hot. What I really like about this restaurant is, the owner Rishi, is friendly, cannot do enough to make your meal a fabulous experience, Sandeep, is the manager now, all the staff are just amazing, they make you feel part of the family.Nepalese food is different from Indian food, it is so much better, they also do Indian food too. We will not go to any other restaurant now, we have found the very best, you would not be disappointed

This is a lovely little pub, with excellent food.

We went on a Saturday evening as a walk-in and they were very accommodating and found us a table.

The serving staff were really polite and friendly and the eating area was nicely decorated and clean.

I had Garlic and Thyme lamb and my wife had the pie of the day and both were really tasty. They came out in good time, on clean plates and were nice and hot. We both had desert too and these were also really good.

The price is reasonable and there is also a decent sized, free carpark opposite for patrons.

All in all this was a lovely pub for a meal and I'd happily recommend it if you're in the area.

Fancied an Indian and googled my nearest one to where I was and came up with this little gem of an Indian was not disappointed for starters. I had onion badges lovely and crispy and for a main I ordered chicken tikka Dakin with special rice and a peshwari Nan.
All for £16.95 off the set meals for one which was for a starter main meal and one or the other rice or bread. I got the nan add as an extra for £3.50
So for the price of £20.45 without a drink you won’t be disappointed.

Sorry for the half eaten pics but I was starving lol?

Get down there and try it out!!!

Great service, great food and well priced. Firstly the staff were very friendly, tentative and always at hand without being clingy. The food is very nice, especially at the price point. I had the sizzler platter and masala fries, the wife had a paneer curry and both were really good. The restaurant has a nice relaxing and friendly feel to it with a decent selection of drinks on tap.

I went in today for a breakfast. The food was really, really nice with a great portion size. I really enjoyed it. I happened to be in my scrubs and the owner gave me some money off for being an NHS worker - was massively appreciated and made my day! Thankyou!

Visited for the first time and were incredibly well looked after, if you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch in and around Hinckley this is the place to visit. The brekkie is superb and coffee so much better than the big chains. If you think about Starbucks with its overpriced coffee, filthy tables and unbothered staff and compare with Stockwells it’s worlds apart. Nice touch today too, we had 4 coffees in total and on leaving were handed a loyalty card with the 4 coffees stamped. It’s the little things that count.

Sunday dinner was spot on! If you have not had a dinner here recently give it a go- everything was perfect. So nice to have a Sunday dinner in a pub that tastes like it was cooked at home not reheated or microwaved. The service was great and atmosphere welcoming. Highly recommend

We had a baby shower meal for a friend here and tarro lounge were very accommodating. On arrival we had bought decorations and a cake and nothing was too much trouble for Fossey, finding us vases, a cake stand and little bits to make the table look lovely! They were also very accommodating for such a big group of us! Would definitely recommend, we had a lovely afternoon! :)

Wow... Never expected a burger of such quality like this... I don't like pulled pork.. but the lady gave me a little taste of the pulled pork they serve..and it was lovely..so decided to get a big American burger with pulled pork.. and it was the best burger I've ever had.. absolutely lovely....I've been to burger houses all over the UK..and nothing comes close to these burgers . .well worth the price I payed ..will be definitely be going back here .. 100%..

Wow, what a fantastic place to have food and drinks!
I had the lamb kebabs with salad and rice, and, OMG.... They were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious ?

The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were great. They were super friendly, and we didn't have to wait too long, despite it being a busy Saturday night.

It is in a good location within Hinckley and there is parking available a short walk away.

This is a great place for lunch! The staff are very friendly. When we arrived there were no tables free so we waited about 5 minutes and got a table. Even the customers are friendly, one lady was trying to get our attention about the free table, pointing over to it, in case we missed it. I had the vegetarian breakfast and my partner had the house burger, both were very good. They also had a lady celebrating her birthday at one of the tables. Country Crust still welcomes other customers when they have these celebrations. Not all places do, some places in Hinckley close their premises to hold a private event. The atmosphere at Country Crust is very homely and welcoming. They do close at 3.00pm though, we would probably be there more often if they opened for a bit longer. Still, I would recommend this place.

I received the distillery tour and gin making class as a gift for my 30th birthday. I’ve never done it before, but it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were informative, friendly and very funny. The experience itself of actually making our own gin and being able to pick all the ingredients was brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone. Nice place to stop for a hot drink and bite to eat. Loads of parking (weekday lunchtime visit) decent prices and nice to have a wander and look at the bikes after.

We had a mocha, cappuccino and a couple of cheese and tomato toasties. Food and drinks were all very nice.

I visited the Black Horse today for a quiet pint with a friend and was welcomed by a genuinely uplifting atmosphere. A group of gentlemen were taking part in a charity dominoes match in support of the Royal British Legion, and I was even invited to take part in their raffle, even though I didn’t win, it was for a great cause!\n\nShann, behind the bar, was cheerful and engaging, while the landlady was actively involved in the games with the teams.\n\nThe pub was impressively clean throughout, including the toilets and the sheltered outdoor area. An added highlight was the quality of the pints, which were great.\n\nI would highly recommend a visit to anyone who has not yet experienced the Black Horse. I will certainly be returning soon.

Very friendly service.

I said my husband likes Chang beer when we go to Thailand - and they brought a bottle!

First time I've tried food from here. As a postie who delivers in the area, I thought I'd give it a taste. It's usually super busy and nowhere to park my van, but I got lucky. I had chips and gravy, hand on my heart, I was literally blown away with the chips. Never tried chips like them melt in the mouth, soft and fluffy. I'll be back !!

We love this Indian as the food is so authentic and has not been tweaked for the British palate like most Indian Restaurants do. We have never had a bad meal here, they have all been excellent and we visit at least once a month. The flavours in every dish are outstanding, not at all overpowering and you feel like you are experiencing South Indian food like it should be served. The Owner is delightful, so friendly and welcoming and is always happy to explain any dishes if you are not familiar with them. You will find many dishes that are not on your average Indian restaurant menu, which is what makes every visit so lovely. We can highly recommend this restaurant if you want to sample authentic South Indian cuisine, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
