My extended family (all 33 of us!!) went to The Chequers for our annual Christmas Eve lunchtime meal. The whole experience was faultless … we pre ordered our meals to help with such a large group and every single meal we ate was delicious. The meals all came out within a very short space of time; the service was excellent - friendly, efficient & very well organised. Visited for a belated Christmas Meal with my family. For starters I had Southern Fried Chicken Tenders with a mayo dip and thwy were delightful!. For mains I had the Black & Blue Burger with chunky cheesy chips, the burger was well cooked and stacked with toppings such as bacon, salad etc and was gorgeous !. For dessert I had zesty kemon tart with raspberry sorbet and boy was the lemon nice and zesty and paired with the raspberry sorbet made it a real palate cleanser. Superb meal...read full review
Very nice place to eat. We went for a girly lunch & really enjoyed itParking: We did go the week of Christmas & it was lunch time so there were 2 delivery trucks in there car park so couldn’t use it so had to find parking else where
