A very quirky experience sitting in a marquee as no indoor seating available yet getting to know the owners dogs and chicken! The owners are really nice, friendly and chatty. The pub offers a fish and chip shop style menu served in take away boxes and plastic cutlery and it did not disappoint! Fish and chips and the pizzas all very hot and delicious.
Absolutely loved having the Crown and Plough on hand throughout the lockdown period. Superb food and customer service each time we had a takeout. Last night we ate and drank outside in their heated marquee. The atmosphere and attentiveness from staff from start to finish was fantastic. They were clearly very busy but still took the time to treat all customers as individuals and therefore everyone felt welcome. Great selection of drinks Real ales and largers. The Chip Shop has a great variety as well! ranging from your Fish and chips to Pizzas and Kebabs. Lovely local feel, with lots of regulars. Well worth a visit.
