I drove up from Cheltenham (200mile roundtrip) for their inaugural Porsche Sunday Breakfast Meeting. There were many Porsche owners and their cars in attendance and made to feel very welcome. The coffee was perfect and Rob the landlord, his Son Tyler & the rest of the team were really pleasant & friendly. Did a little circular walk around Hose and Harby and stumbled on the pub just where it should be, close to the church. A pint of black sheep ale and mini fish and chips went down very well, both excellent by the way. Nice welcome and chat with the land lady and we hope to be back soon.

After a tough 10 mile walk this place was a welcome beacon to head to. The food was really tasty (I had their "Gringo" lasagne) and the atmosphere was pleasant. Not too loud music, books to read, games to play and lovely staff.As I understand it's been under new management since November which has helped breathe life back into a village pub.If in the area or staying in Hose then make sure you visit this pub. We shall definitely return when we come again to visit family.
