This was a refreshing find. Warm and welcoming with a very nice atmosphere. Landlord very interesting to talk too, waitress attentive and very helpful. The menu had a good range of choices. It arrived quite quickly and both meals were well presented but perfectly cooked. It was a very enjoyable evening ?
As usual for lunch, did not expect anything would be different from the usual pub fayre. However, despite there being only one other occupied table in the lounge area we were provided wiith a reasonable menu choice and everything was explained to us. I had something simple being ham, eggs chips and peas and my colleague had the salmon fillet dish. What a lovely friendly historical coaching Inn. Place had a really lovely ambience, spotlessly clean, no sticky tables or floors here. Had a really delicious great value lunch. Menu had something for everyone. Owner & staff were all really friendly and very patient with my rather rambunctious over friendly labrador. Will definitely be back.
