Church Ln, HorncastleOnly visited for coffee and cakes. The service was super friendly and quick. Coffee was delicious and creamy. My Husband had a cherry pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was so good! The ice cream tasted amazing. If I ever visit the area, I would love to come back for lunch and some ice cream.

Thimbleby, HorncastleImpromptu night away in the motorhome. The pub has a small caravan/motorhome park in the rear. Lovely and quiet. Has an Elsan point and drinking water.10% off our food bill. Jackie and the girls were extremely welcoming, very attentive and the food was excellent. Only an hour from home so we will definitely paying another visit.

6 South St, HorncastleHad a nice drink and food here tonight. The pizza was lovely and the chicken burger was really nice better than a kfc burger. A rose spritzer and pint of coors lite was £10.20 which id say is normal for these days. Staff helpful and polite

Just One More Bike
25 High St, HorncastleThis morning was my first ever visit to Horncastle, I had a ton of emails to deal with and the added luxury of looking after my daughter's wonderful dog (Otis). A kindly stranger pointed me in the direction of Pedal and Paws...all I can say is WOW! Every single member of staff made us feel like we'd been going there for years, served us both with beautiful food and coffee and gave me full access to wi-fi and power so I could get my work done.
I'm sure there are other nice cafe's that deliver a similar experience, but for me, today was a first in terms of balancing work with dog-sitting and helping out a friend...I couldn't have been pointed in a better direction by the lovely local lady. Thanks so much to all, for turning a potential headache of a day into a really pleasant experience . ??

Quality, portion size and value for money….They were extremely busy and honest about the potential wait however the beer garden and beer were a lovely distraction. Previous “inconvenience review” was for me impatience and lack of appreciation of the kitchen being tiny but cooking up a storm despite. The Lady referenced had a wick sense of humour - obviously not everyone gets that or realises it doesn’t revolve around them. Suspect most places would turn away walks ins - p.s. that crackling and stuffing ????

Magpies Restaurant with Rooms
71-75 East St, HorncastleThis place is such a hidden gem! Gorgeous rooms, spacious bathrooms and the restaurant is like a Michelin star establishment. I have not eaten food like this in Lincolnshire for decades. At the same time, the owners are friendly, present, but in a professional manner.
My only criticism is that parking wasn't readily available, but when I phoned, the owner moved his car so that I could park. Couldn't have asked for more.
Even the biscuits in the room were beautiful home baked shortbread, worthy of a mention themselves. Can't rate highly enough and I've not even had breakfast yet!

New St, LouthReally nice tiny gem- not many tables available so I would recommend booking in advance. Food quality was very good - we tried several tapas dishes between 4 of us, and all were really nice and fresh. My absolute favourite were crab croquettes.

Tapas Bar Restaurant
HorncastleAte at the restaurant as part of birthday celebrations as our previous booking let us down. The Bull Hotel were very accommodating at short notice and, having not ate there previously, we weren't sure what to expect. While the table was a little crampt for a party of 11, we were very pleasantly surprised. A relatively small choice on the menu but all to the parties tastes. The steaks were cooked well and the quality of food was very good. I opted for the belly pork cutlets, very tasty but a little overcooked and had food envy if those that ordered the steak. Waiting staff and kitchen staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful through the evening.

Hemingby, HorncastleLovely little country pub. Owner was very pleasant man with good sense of humour and a community spirit. Out of the way and peaceful, lovely atmosphere with locals meeting and chatting. Would recommend.a visit if you're in the area.

73 West St, BostonFrom the outside you wonder if you’re in the right place with men shouting at cars as you pass. Then you go and feel transported to Portugal. The food was amazing and we will be coming again simply for this place. The father served us who doesn’t normally work there and he did fab!

There's seating outside and inside.
I had an egg bap and then a very delicious piece of banana pecans and caramel cake. Portion sizes were great and service was pretty quick

The Red Lion Revesby
Revesby, BostonWhat a lucky find. We missed a turning going to Stickney and drove past the Red Lion at Revesby the outside looked so well kept and inviting that we decided to call in on our way back.
We arrived just before 2pm hoping that food was still being served. The inside is spacious, well kept and as welcoming as the outside. After checking with the Kitchen we were told that food was still available. The dining room was spacious ( no danger of bumping other diners as you get up)
The food was great, the service was excellent and they serve Bateman's beer. What's not to like. I just wish it was nearer to my home

16-17 Market Pl, HorncastleNice little Costa Coffee. Plenty of indoor seating and lovely cold air-conditioning! The 3 ladies on today were all very polite and delivered great customer service. There is a small carpark outside with 30 minutes free parking aswell.

3 High St, HorncastleGot a takeaway, set meal for four. Chinese food is not one of my gotos but I was very happy with the meal which they delivered to us fir £3.Fantastic meal. Very generous (we will have another two meals out of it). Fresh and tasty with much less of the MSG, shugar and grease that I usually expect with a Chinese takeaway.I highly reccomend and will be back for more!

Whilst outside seating area to the front could be tidied up a little (fix fencing / gate and renew paving slabs and shingle, adding some low maintenance plants). - The coffee was absolutely delicious, they obviously use a good coffee bean. - The Mocha's where particularly delicious! - Really enjoyable.

33 High St, HorncastleThis resembles another chain of well known fast food sarnies and pastries, but less expensive. They have a wonderful "breakfast in a box". Its a choose either any six or any right for a fixed price. It's a "full English" in a box. Wonderful value and very nice food. Visited twice and had different on each visit. Sandwiches made to order, so they are fresh. Ready made sausage rolls and bakes. Plenty to choose from. Cakes and beverages are available Will definitely call in again when in the area.
