We just came across this village pub on a drive about. It is a typical village pub with friendly locals and good home cooked food at very decent prices. I have to admit it was the best bit of gammon I'd had in a long time.
Attended for breakfast today with friends, lovely warm welcome of wood burner on a cold snowy morning and the breakfast was gorgeous, good choice for all tastes, but the double is a must?

Really nice, friendly pub. The food was delicious and all three of us really enjoyed it. The steaks were cooked perfectly, my mushy peas were so good and my fish was so good too. Didn't get a chance to photograph the treacle puddings - they were devoured to quickly but my lemon meringue was home made and delicious. We will definitely return - dog friendly too which was a bonus for us and home made chips yummy ?
