Visiting Liverpool again and was looking forward to visiting Lark Lane. Found the Old School House and it looked such a cool place and food menu looked amazing. Coffees came after 20 mins and food was a lot longer. Didn't mind too much as place was bustling,however our food which consisted of 2 full breakfast and poached eggs on toast came out cold! Nice food and nice wine but the service seriously let's this place down. I live close by, and keep giving this place another chance but, consistently, you are able to put your first order in very quickly and happily, and after that point you're lucky if you're able to get anyone to bring you another drink or the bill or a dessert menu. Went to a breakfast and run club at the old school house this morning which was brilliant. Peter served us and couldn’t have been more helpful. The service was great. This was my first time coming to the old school house and I will definitely come again.
