Always wanted to try here and finally got the opportunity to do so. Very friendly and welcoming. starters seemed to average about £9 and mains £24, but to be fair, the quality and portion of the food justified the price. I decided just to do the main as I was worried if the starter was filling. I'd struggle. I was right in doing this, but I long to know what the starter would have been like! There is a wide selection of food on the menu. I recommend this place and I look forward to coming back ??

We decided to visit here tonight for a little treat, first time we have been, it was beautiful, the decor is lovely and the staff are very friendly and attentive, we were seated straight away and had our poppadoms and drinks within 5 minutes, we very much enjoyed our meal, my son especially enjoying the masala sauce as requested without meat, very happily accomidated. The bread was warm and the Currys were hot and delicious, the boys especially loved the little touch of the frozen ice in a glass making the effect of steam all over the table, very joyful. We are definitely going to go again.

Called in today for some food at lunchtime before going to the Theatre Royal and we are so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and they made a table available for us as they were busy. The atmosphere was nice and chilled and it is like stepping back in time which we really like. My wife had the High Tea and I had the Ham, Eggs and Chips and we can honestly say the food was simply delicious. Mine was cooked fresh and there was plenty on the plate and my wife loved her High Tea and we both passed on our compliments to the staff. Their pricing is very reasonable and there is a great choice of food and specials available. Honestly we had great food here and would recommend anyone to pay them a visit and try Lilys. And for the record, we cannot wait to come back and eat here again - better than a lot of the chains out there!???

We had a lovely experience at Nando’s.

We had a table booked for 4:00 pm under the name Marta, and we visited as a family, myself (Leonardo), my wife, our daughter Yasmin, and Marta’s father.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming. The young lady at reception, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, greeted us with genuine kindness and escorted us to our table in a very professional and friendly way, a solid 10/10 for her.

During our meal, Sophie and Emily looked after us, and they were both excellent. They were attentive, polite, caring, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire visit, a clear 10/10 for both of them. The service felt natural and genuine, not rushed.

The food was excellent, and combined with the level of care we received, it made the whole experience very enjoyable from start to finish.

Thank you to the whole team for the great service, especially Sophie, Emily, and the lovely lady at reception. We truly felt well looked after and would happily return.

I’m very fussy about pizza but needs must when you’re hungry. I ordered the American Hot Pizza, Garlic Cheese Pizza and fries. My order said it would be at least an hour however it arrived sooner than that. I was concerned that I’d just got a ‘keep warm’ pizza. I was worrying too much. The pizza was hot, well cooked and very tasty as was the garlic cheese pizza. The fries were hot and crisp.
I’ll DEFINITELY be using Diego’s again. A very enjoyable meal!

I feel bad for waiting so long to write this... after visiting on a whim with friends, I don't think I would want to go anywhere else to eat. The staff are amazing, we literally had our meals designed for us based on what flavours we liked by the amazing chef. The staff were so knowledgeable about the food they could offer, everything had a story and they made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. For anyone suggesting the wait time was too long, this isn't Mc Donald's, all food seems to be cooked from fresh and tastes incredible. If you want immediate feeding go to KFC, this is a quality restaurant and that takes time! The wait, which isnt an issue, is so worth it. Have a bottle of wine and a chat and you will be eating before you know it. My food was so delicious, so tasty and well prepared I just couldn't believe I was in St Helens. There is not one bad thing I can say. Very few tables so you feel looked after, and like you are lucky to be there. Just try it, you will not be disappointed, and the value for money is outrageous! You will be gutted your stomach cant hold more! AMAZING!!!!

I enjoyed my visit to the Bridge Farm Cafe on News Lane, Rainford, Merseyside.. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis from now as it truly is an hidden gem..

I found the ambience very friendly and inviting inside the cafe, of which was spotlessly clean and tidy, outside was quite spacious and well laid out too with a decent amount of space for car parking at the rear.

I found the menu was quite varied and reasonably priced considering the lovely rural location..

As previously mentioned, I'm definitely going back to Bridge Farm Cafe and also to check out the garden plants too.

Normally it's really nice. Been a good few times. Normally go when it's not been too busy. The food has been excellent on these occasions. We normally get the banquets. You get a lot of food which sometimes is good just depends if you're hungry.
The only time that wasn't great was New Years Eve. It wasn't awful but the food wasn't up to the usual standard probably because it was so packed. But it's what I expected.
Overall I would highly recommend it. Lobe the rice as it could be a meal on its own it's like a special fried rice. Lobe the honey chilli chicken too.
Normally 4 or 5 of us go hence the price I've put.

The location is handy as it on the link road coming out of St. Helens on the way to the M62.

However, the road the exit is on can be busy which can make it a real pain to get out of at peak times.

Parking: There isn’t much parking which can be an issue during busy periods.

The girls in here have just earned this review,I was stood behind a particularly awkward vegan customer with a real lack of manners,she was rude an degrading to the girl behind the counter,the girl handled her like a trooper an stayed calm while being spoke to in a vile way,good buttys but even better patience.

Once a week for the past couple of months I've stopped here on the way home from work to buy a (takeaway) sub for dinner.
The place is very clean, the staff are so pleasant + helpful + the food is always well presented, fresh + delicious.
I can't comment too much about the atmosphere of Subway because I never eat in there - but the friendliness of the staff does give the place a good atmosphere.

I very rarely go to weather spoons, but on this occasion we wanted breakfast as our own B&B didn't start serving until 10.am.
We were very surprised.
I paid £2.79 for a small breakfast and my wife went for the traditional breakfast priced at £3.69
We didn't expect much, but, as I said we were very surprised.
No more expensive B&B breakfast for us anymore.

No sign of 'Aunt Bessie's' as somebody had posted.
We enjoyed it, and even tbough we where stuffed, we still had a pudding.

The staff where very busy, but attentive and helpful.
