I live in Canada now but came back to the area in November visiting family and friends. I was looking for a small pub to have a quiet few pints. As soon as I went in I was welcomed by friendly people good conversation. My wife came a week later to join me so we went back to the pub and they had live entertainment on singing and playing guitar. Music and vocals were great. The staff worked very hard serving and keeping everywhere clean. I hope to be back in the area again visiting...read full review

A lovely place if you want to be able to have a conversation.......beer garden is lovely and quite large with lovely lights. Bar staff are lovely and friendly. As soon as you walk in great eye contact, not a mobile phone in sight.....abd a smile, and its "hi Kath your usual"....and I have only been a couple of times.

This is really the only pub I go to for a drink and wouldn't want to go anywhere else the staff are amazing and always friendly even if you haven't been in a while. Still as amazing as ever xxxx
