The Blakeney Hotel
The Quay, Blakeney, HoltTL:DR we like this place. It's comfy and clean, the staff are great but it's a bit English sometimes and could do with some modernisation.
The hotel is an independent as such can be as unique as it wants and that shows in the lovely quirky nature. The staff are excellent and always on hand to help and I've never seen such engagement before. To the point where a staff member leaving to go to Wales had a 20 min chat with a regular guest about his plans and hopes, utterly unique I would say.
I know some have said the place is expensive but considering the price we paid for an excellent dinner and breakfast included I'd say sure it's not cheep but honestly priced.
Facilities are good and the pool/gym/sauna is very good next to some lovely gardens but for me the rooms could use some updating in particular the bathrooms. Showers and fixtures should be brought up to a better standard. Parking can be difficult which is a tribute to A. The hotel's popularity and B. Blakeney is a tiny little tourist trap with cart lanes for roads. God I do love this country for that. If you're in north Norfolk and have the budget stay here and have fun crabbing.

The Cock Inn
Nibley Hill, BlakeneyAbsolutely love this place! It's a hidden gem. Very very cheap beer, wonderful friendly owners that are always happy to chat and a real homely traditional feel. Garden is fab too! We come here with our vintage cars and always look forward to seeing them again.

The Langham Blue Bell
Langham Bluebell, 22 Holt Rd, Langham, HoltWe had a family dinner at The Blue Bell, while staying in Langham and were delighted with the service and food. The waitresses were efficient and attentive, and the food was all delicious. There was something for everyone with some unusual dishes, of which the curried monkfish was particularly delicious. Great chips too !! We'll be back - as pity it may have to wait until next summer.

Kings Arms Blakeney
Westgate St, Blakeney, HoltWe love it here. Go quite a few times when we are on holiday and it's become tradition that we have a meal here on our last day. Landlord is as miserable as an old goat but it's all part of the charm and gives us a good laugh. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food has always been excellent everytime.

The Wiveton Bell
Blakeney Rd, HoltOn this occasion we only had Guinness (reasonably priced) as well as the black garlic hummus, which as absolutely delicious! Lovely atmosphere and very nice staff.
I'm only knocking a star because of the service charge of 10% was applied to the bill by default, forcing you to ask for it to be taken off should you not want to tip. Tipping should be an opt in situation, otherwise just add it to the food price.
Will definitely be back again to try different meals! Certainly recommend going there!

The White Horse Blakeney
4 High St, Blakeney, HoltLovely pub/hotel, nice warm welcome, very friendly staff, room was very spacious with great view (room 1), had evening meal there on first night, food was very nice, service was friendly and attentive and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, only criticism was the breakfast room was very hot with no windows that appeared to be openable.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
