Chequers Inn Binham
Front St, FakenhamMy wife and I were given the most warm welcome at the Chequers Inn after a tiring overnight transatlantic flight from NY and a nearly four hour drive from Heathrow Airport. I cannot tell you how great the hospitality was for two exhausted travelers who were looking for a traditional Sunday pub lunch in Norfolk before arriving at our nearby AirBnB. The food was fantastic and the beer (for this expatriate Brit, at least) was delightful. Everyone in the pub greeted us like we were family. We couldn't have asked for a better welcome to the UK.

The Cock Inn
Nibley Hill, BlakeneyThis pub is definitely a must but a shame that it's closed Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday otherwise we would have been back for more tasty food and tried the other fantastic selection of beer, ales and ciders. Staff are very helpful and really don't mind going that extra mile for you , it's dog friendly so our large and very slobbery french mastiff enjoyed the feast along side us. A visit is a must and hope to be back next year. Strongly recommend this pub.

The Langham Blue Bell
Langham Bluebell, 22 Holt Rd, Langham, HoltBit mixed review, lovely pub in rural village, we ate evening meal, menu a bit restricted for choice, wife does not eat meat so oppted for catch of day it was Salmon. Salmon for catch of the day? Not sure from the North sea and why cooked in cordon bleu style? Country village pub i would have liked it to reflect village style, not too fancy etc.I thought overall too pricy especially, bottles of wine. Bench seat most uncomfortable ever sat on, pub lounge lovely and cosy and I hope for better next year.

Kings Arms Blakeney
Westgate St, Blakeney, HoltFriendly welcome at this traditional village pub. Roaring fire in winter and good amount of outdoor seating for summer. Food looked great but I didn't try this time.
