Cafe Tmc
111 High St, Blakeney, HoltThis was the most wonderful surprise experience. We live in Stiffkey and did a lovely coastal walk on an autumn Sunday afternoon. We had 45 minutes to kill before our bus home and couldn't find anywhere for tea and came across this small cafe with the most delightful staff. The tea was served in china cups and the cakes - homemade - were delicious and the portions huge. This is now going to be our regular tea stop,.

The Blakeney Hotel
The Quay, Blakeney, HoltWe went for breakfast a few mornings ago. The staff were attentive and so professional. It was our 19th wedding anniversary and Adam went above and beyond and brought us a plate of celebratory chocolate truffles and shortbread bits.
Thankyou Adam and the team you made us feel very spoilt xxxx

The Cock Inn
Nibley Hill, BlakeneyWhat a lovely cosy country pub. Real ales on tap and a welcoming warm log fire on a cold winters eve. The landlord is a very friendly chap called Steve who is very accommodating, as he let's me play the resident guitar and sing to my hearts content??. Definitely my favourite pub in the Forest of Dean area. Well worth a visit.

Kings Arms Blakeney
Westgate St, Blakeney, HoltThe Kings arms in Blakeney - Stopped here on a walk whilst doing the Norfolk Coast path - arrived a bit bedraggled and wet - had a couple of drinks and the weather cleared and the sun came out so I was able to continue with the rest of the walk
Nice to have a dry place to visit whilst waiting for the rain to clear- visited in February 2026
I believe they also do accommodation but I was here on a lunchtime

The White Horse Blakeney
4 High St, Blakeney, HoltStayed recently at the White Horse in Blakeney.
The food and service were genuinely very good. The team on the ground are warm, attentive, and clearly care, which makes a real difference and is worth recognising.
The issue was Room 7 itself, which lets the whole experience down.
The bedroom window had no proper curtains, only a frayed modesty blind, so the room never really felt private or comfortable. More concerning, both the bedroom and bathroom windows are in a poor state, with visibly rotten wood, cracked paint, and failing seals. It is not just cosmetic, it raises questions around basic maintenance and security.
It feels like a property with great people being held back by a lack of investment in the fabric of the building.
With some fairly straightforward attention to the rooms, this could be a very strong offering. As it stands, it does not quite match the standard the staff are working so hard to deliver.
