Went for a meal here last night and was so pleased with the food and the service. A shame we were the only 4 people eating,it deserves so much more. The lady who looked after us was amazing. Thank you so much.
We walk from Great Yarmouth to Caister and head for The Gate. What good food. We like salads in the hot weather and their offering is huge. The cheese salad comes with jacket potaoe and coleslaw plus a huge amount of cheese and fresh crunchy salad.we have tried the ham salad again generous with nice thick slices of ham.The tuna salad is also generous.Looking forward to trying roasts when weather gets cooler.Highly recommended.???

A new landlord has taken over, and on our first encounter, they are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are very good as is the selection of beer and wine. Not sure if they are doing food yet. Worth popping in for a couple.
