Very enjoyable Saturday lunch time meal.Friendly atmosphere, dog friendly and great food. The pie was amazing and from 2 Northerners that's quite a compliment. Had the pleasure of meeting the lovely lady that makes the pies.Portions were generous and the chips were fantastic. We will definitely be back again soon.Only thing that I could fault was the pint of John Smith's wasn't great. Think there was an issue with the pump so could well be a one off. What a great find, lovely atmosphere and good food. Fish and chips in front of an open fire is to be recommended. On the Saturday night we visited they had alive band on in the evening who were amazing (I think they were called the tomatoes) a great choice of music and so much fun. We will be back.
